Thank you BPL, for ruining our chances with injury.

First shakib, then mashrafee and now nazmul hossain. What is really horrible is that the BPL franchises did not have decent physiotherapist owing to payment fiasco.

I feel like pulling my hair, absolutely unprofessional

From that millions, 95% is from Bangladesh

BTW, rubel marshal bowled two economical bowlers!!! Can any of the PP moderators interview him about those 2 exceptional overs

I am still curious why he play tests matches. His bowling average in Tests matches is almost 75 and SR is 111.3

Because our pace bowling resources are as dry as the sahara dessert. We have only 2 decent bowlers as far as I know: Mashrafee, but both are out due to injury and even still, both of them are 125-130KPH bowlers.

We dont have any pace academies, in BPL our pace bowlers dont really get to play much, in FC matches only 2 pacers are picked at max and bowl a max ov 15 overs a day, story of our pace bowling

So as of now their are no positives from BPL.

The awkward moment when you realize is that rubel has a 33 average in ODIs which is quite decent :O

In terms of batting-yes, in terms of fielding-yes and in terms of spin bowling- to an extent.

Our pace bowlers would have done had a lot of positives from BPL BUT, the BPL teams didnt couldnt get any proper fast bowling coach, but did however get a lot foreign pacers who were played ahead of local pace bowlers. Guys like abul hassan, rubel, shahadat, nazmul were mostly sidelined.

Zimbabwe should feel thrilled by now with these exposed BD bowling issues.

Well unlucky for them shakib and mashrafee should be fit by them. But if we keep on playing crappy players like abul and rubel we might go on to lose against the zimboks

Let me make a list of the all the injured players

Tamim
Shakib
Naeem
Nafees
Enamul Haq Jr
Mashrafe
Nazmul Hossain

WoW!

Itna senti nahe hote yaar :P

Well this was an extremely important series for us and we needed all our best players to take part. If we played well in this series, it would open a lot of doors for us especially into getting county/BBL contracts and more importantly, some more tours in the FTP.

We playonly 3 series this year, and the very first series sees half of our main team out of action. Could we borrow misbah for the time being?

Cant believe what happened to rubel. Before BPL-1, he had a really good average-better than that of steyn in ODIs :p Then he got a back injury in the first BPL match and he never was the bowler he used to be before 2012. What a shame!

I thought SL were a bit hard done by with the D/L calculation but it was chased comfortably in the end. Good to see Tharanga not there had enough of his ball eating contests. I was hoping to see a big knock by Kusal but he gave it away after a good start. Hopefully in the next few games we'll see a lot more of him. Not all bad news for Bangla. Young Nasir Hossain again showed great maturity with the bat and Gazi too looked good with the ball. Bangla still have a long way to go but seems to be on the right track.
