The umpire does have the authority to tell a bowler to stop bowling a negative line; an example being Gould telling Herath to stop being a loser and bowling 3 metres outside leg stump in that famous Sharjah victory of ours a couple of years back. Although I agree, Yasir shouldn't have been warned here, he wasn't going over the top with it

It wasnt even close to over the top!! There was NO negative line. Both Rameez and Arnold were talking on tv that the line WAS attacking. All the rough was there, and Mathews CLEARLY was struggling against it (including a couple of missed reverse sweeps).... The umpire needs to shut up and let the bowlers/Pak bowl to their plan!! What a total joke to arbitrarily claim that line was negative.

One thing i have noticed with Pakistani Batting (for a while, or maybe my mind is just selectively picking matches) is their first innings batting is always below par/poor, they get skittled out or post below par scores. Then the bowlers have to put effort to bring the game back, and their 2nd innings batting is decent.

Happened i believe in every game of this series and i can remember few instances in the past too.
