Just another conspiracy I suppose

Not watching, but Pat Cummins is the only 'express' bowler in the near future, until Pakistan, Australia & West Indies found new gem(s) and the young lad avoid the usual fast bowler's injuries.
Very difficult for me to pin down my opinion on Finn.
His test match record is nothing short of superb. He took a big haul at Brisbane, which included a brilliant hour against Katich and Clarke and a mopping up of the tail which got England back into the game - moreover, anyone who saw the second innings at Adelaide, when Broad was injured and Finn spent a whole afternoon bowling with venom and control on a flat pitch, would surely rate the lad.
And then he turns up against India and bowls like Akhtar. His figures are average but his pace and stamina were ludicrous.
He's an exciting bowler. To have already done all of the above at the age of 22 cannot be underestimated. Remember that Anderson took many many years to develop into a consistent, world-class bowler.
Although it's a flat deck and Dhoni was in irresistible form, Finn really did get mullered today. He is still learning.
However, this thread is worth a bump for another reason. Finn averaged 143ks and had a top speed of 148ks, and this on an Indian broadcast. So - biased English speed guns, or just a darn quick bowler?
If im not wrong he is the fastest bowler in the world atm. Whats surprising is he wasn't a naturally quick bowler, at least not a 150kph one when he came first. He has developed himself into one just to get into the team.
tait
morkel
roach
edwards
lee
riaz
finn
steyn
yadav
gul-in loc
jhonson
are all 150 k bowlers
Already one of our quickest bowlers in decades. That's both exciting and depressing!
OH lala...
150kph are not so common only 150k bowlers in World Cricket are
Tait
Roach
Edwards
Morkel
Steyn
Finn also looks like he can hit 150k here and there
but rest of players you mentioned are not 150kph bowlers
i said able to hit 150k
Shaun Tait is the fastest bowler today.
He plays only T20.
Finn, Morkel and Steyn are fastest bowlers in ODIs and tests.
Finn is possibly the only positive to come out of the recent Eng/Ind ODI series. I honestly can't recall an English fast bowler who has bowled as impressively as him in India, other than possibly Hoggard.
He must be close to forcing himself back in the test side.
I can remember Neil Foster taking eleven wickets in a test match in India to force a series win.
With Finn, and Draco to come back, and hopefully a few dead-wood batters pruned out I think we can have a good ODI side.
Draco? Who?
As I have said few times now, Pakistan were lucky he didn't play in the Test matches. He is just too quick for our batsmen who don't have tehnique to cope with quality bowling.
Not much impressive ,
it was our batting line who made it look like impressive bowling![]()
