T20 | 4th match | Group c | Zimbabwe v South Africa

Zimbo have beaten S.A in a recent tri-series in T20 format so they should fancy there chances of an upset here.

You were saying? :p The team they beat didn't have AB, Morne, Steyn or :kallis . It was a team full of fringe players.

Congratz Jo_Don Keith and other south Africans and supporters. I guess that includes me too. Rooted for the underdogs but don't have anything against south Africans at all

boring match. Zimbos are big dissappointment. They failed to do well in these tournaments. Apart from that victory over Aus there was no notable performances from them!

I hate this constant music in srilanka what is wrong with people there.

Good front foot defense from prosper. Sensational cricket all round.

If someone collapses for 75/7 and it's a final, can South Africa still choke? Something to think about

Back to being serious, Zim is a better team than this. They were unlucky to be drawn into a tough group.

show me one proper hit for a boundary pleeesh Zim! Only one would do really for this innings

Hope Levi can play himself into form. That boy needs to learn some temperament.

Zimbos look out of sorts. Lost WU matches, lost this lost that! they are losing everything

This is only the 2nd match in Levi's international career that he has gone past 20. Can the Saffers not find any decent openers to replace this one hit wonder?

He'll come good, this is only his 7th T20. Been awesome in domestic cricket, and comes from the same school that gave us Kallis and quite a few of our rugby stars. Just needs to work on his temperament.

The only thing to see about this group C is which team from SL and SA have the better of the team

It's his 8th game. Just because he went to the same school as Kallis doesn't mean he will become a decent player. It's a big step up from domestic cricket to international cricket and so far he doesn't look to have either the technique nor the temperament to step up.

Do you not find it slightly worrying that in the 4 games he has played so far against major teams(India & England) he has averaged 7? He's a big bloke so when he can give it a good whack but you need more than just that to succeed at the international level.

Crushing performance by the proteas, the seamers were superb, levi and amla were brilliant, levi looked like a proper batsmen not a slogger - played proper cricket shots and even played a couple of georgous cover drives!

Kallis himself had a pretty poor start to international cricket. As did Amla and AB. His temperament and technique is what the coaches are there for, and he's not going to get the same level of exposure and coaching at domestic level. Our domestic leagues are pretty competitive and it's generally a good indicator of who can make it at international level. 7 (or 8) games are far too few to judge somebody on their average, 4 games are even worse.
