Yes, IPL owners are evil and tried to keep Pak players out of teams they own around the world etc.
The summary of outcome of the auction for the big names from Pakistan who went into this based upon some sort of "reputation" is as follows:
1. Haris Rauf = unsold
2. Shadab Khan = unsold
3. Shaheen Shah Afridi - withdrew (i.e. possibly ran away due to what is generally known as the "writing on the wall" strategy-
After all BBL, PSL all pick these guys so we assumed it was a given that in a fair world, they would be picked?
But here is the deal.
IPL owned franchises didn't bother with these names because genuinely as business owners they saw none or very little ROI (not Republic of India but Return on Investment) from taking on these charity cases.
The only benefit The Hundred franchises saw was in the lesser known but people who actually perform when given the chance - players such as Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq.
This to me is a damning indictment on the true status of these "stars" - something PCB should look at instead of raising the Pakistani flag whenever the three dreaded letters, I P L are mentioned.
