this is what test cricket is all about. we need more wickets like these. exhilarating stuff. brilliant
 
10 runs in 40 minutes and we deserve 2 wickets, we get none. just madness. does my head in.
 
in defense of Dar, in live action that did look like he got a nick as there were 2 sounds, so he prolly gave benefit of the doubt to Hussey...
 
Commentators are pathetic, when its one of their own they hardly ever go at it. I remember when Taufel, an otherwise great umpire, gave U Akmal out in the Champions Trophy they were making up a million excuses. There's always a double standard BUT tough luck for Dar, umpire of the year has to do better than how he's doing today.

except the Ponting wicket, England have been unbelievably unlucky in this game so far. hopefully the tide turns soon and does our excellent bowling justice.

I have a question, how does Eagle Eye know that how much the ball will swing and how much bounce will it get?

Thats not an easy question to answer :ibutt

But once the ball bounces its just a matter of using trajectory technology to predict bounce and seam

And the swing and angle is obviously once again predicted from the hand release
 
is strauss the world's worst captain or what. this is the worst possible field for such an awesome bowling. put 2 more slips in there and take the damn midwicket out !!!!

Midwicket is the right position because Anderson is mostly trying to bowl on the stumps
 
this is just plain annoying now, we are blatantly as good as the Aussies but it's increasingly looking like the result will not reflect this.

now you know what we felt when Asif bowled some awesome breathtaking spells this summer for very little results

but great going though. england need to remain patient. this is the kind of pitch where any wicket can make way for a collapse
 
Anderson has been so impressive and unlucky!

Haddin playing slower than Azhar Ali. Only a matter of time before he gets frustrated and throws away his wicket.

Tell you what, no matter how well England have bowled, if and once this pair gets past the total, its going to be all damage control and England will be in some deep trouble

hopefully the Aussies just used up all their luck or something
 
Jimmy's figures are stupid good. even if we do lose, at least we have laid down a marker and they will respect our bowlers after this.
