Finn again

Everyone hates him but got the best stats on either side by far

Hes rubbish

Hes been gifted wickets

Haven't seen him bowl a wicket taking ball so far.

But... somehow, he is producing

Finn has that knack of picking up jammy wickets with rubbish balls and making things happen. valuable player to have in a team

yeah, it's bizarre. mental. can't believe it. but like I said. somewhat valuable!

finn gets back to normal with a short of a length ball down the legside for five wides

Tucked away for 1

North - the hero? :O

Yeah right !!!

im one of his harshest critics but this second innings spell is his best of the whole series. Bowled pretty well in my opinion. That's mirrored in his economy rate too. not as many of these four balls, and bowling well mostly.

Didn't bowl well in the first test though.

To be fair mate the Hussey wicket was not a long hop. replays show it was a good ball on off-stump short of a length, cramping the batsman. well-bowled.

Haddin played a delightful shot for a single to get off the mark there

Some fat bloke has his top off. He doesn't think it's going to rain.

Aus need to continue attacking.

Yeah, it wasn't a long hop - definitely - my bad.

But no where near a wicket taking ball. Australia have had a couple of soft wickets too many to save a game from the position they were in.

if haddin and north can score qucik and get a lead you never know.
lol. We fans on here don't even share that false optimism about Pakistan.

North aint an attacker. He'll defend his wicket at all costs. The longer he's in though, much higher the possibility he's gonna score big.

He'll get out for under 20 though hopefully :)

Haddin's an attacker but he won't attack, he'll support north at the other end and play a similar innings to last test.

Finn in the Ashes: 9 wickets thus far, average 30, strike rate under 50.

simply unbelievable for a 21 year-old.

he looks ordinary as heck, but if he keeps producing, who cares?! :D

This spell from Anderson must be negated

This new ball, and Swann's spell to follow is going to be the key in this match

Im constantly looking at adelaides hourly weather nd it keeps sayin no rain til z7. But then it also said snow in nyc at 7, nd still no sign of snow.

But i hope it does rain! Nd it rains hard!!!

Jeez - This battle between Haddin and Anderson is top notch

I'm not a fan of his but he's got potential. Does bowl some good stuff. Trouble is bowls too much bad stuff and gives away too many boundary balls. Isn't particularly consistent.

I have to say I don't think he's ready for international yet. Needs to work a bit more in domestic and hone his skills. Still raw.

LOL, Finn is the leading wicket taker in the series

England discussing Broad's replacement

ive got a feeling north will score big unfortunately. When everyone fails, North seems to score for some reason. He's like England's collingwood (who's much better abroad too incidentally).

Wow, good wicket to get for Finn. Keep it up and he'll appear half decent!

Really hope to see Aus crash to an innings loss.

And by a distance.

He has been England's best seamer in this innings by far. Broad was ordinary and James 'Jekyll and Hyde' Anderson has been rubbish.

Flicked away for 2 from Haddin

Looking solid now

Tell you what ... Hes looking good with the new cherry

But thats him isn't it, as long as the ball swings, hes as good as anyone

How many tests did Haddin take to score his 1st test century?

england should stick with the same bowlers throughout the series now. no point changing it. This gives faith in the bowlers and allows them to gel and work better.

Australia have made this mistake. They should have gone with hilf, bollinger, Johnson/Siddle/Harris, and Hauritz or Smith.Dropping hilf or not playing hilf and bollinger together was a mistake. these two have formed a partnership and bowl well together. Once they picked one combination they should have sticked to it too. No point picking johnson for the first test then axing him the next etc.

They should never have tried out Xavier. Hauritz is a good spinner in australia anyway. Smith is a good batsman. Xavier is neither.

It's his performance with the first new ball in this innings that was disappointing. totally harmless.

Broad is injured and ruled out.

Another single by North - The good thing hes doing this innings compared to his previous efforts is rotating the strike

Good signs from North
