What's new

The Ashes | 3rd Test | Perth | Day 2 | 17/12/10

Looks like MJ may have just decided to turn up to play today.

MJ on fyahhh after being "rested" for Adelaide (LOL) - Kevinder :out

Review is on

No where near the bat. Hitting middle and leg. Plumb LBW. No point in reviewing that.

Johnson bowling like Akram of 1994 here. How is he able to swing the ball in to the right hander all of a sudden?

I guess this is what MJ offers, as long as his confidence is up and he is in form - he can run through sides. The problem is he's so on and off.

Net sessions? :)))

Who knows really. With MJ you never know.

Just like the last Ashes finds his form late in the series.

If you pitch the ball in right areas... its doing something.... Other bowlers need to get their act together and support Johnson

Strauss should've been sitting in dressing room if Hiddan didn't missed that catch :pissed: Come on Aussies!!!

Collingwood always a terrible starter. Good chance for Mj to make it 4.

Plenty of options for Ponting but isn't taking Hilfun off while wickets are falling. 9 in a row.

STruass luck finally runs out. Brilliant stuff from Australia!

yay.

Strauss :out

I'm supporting England to win the Ashes, but I want Aussies to win this test (otherwise the contest is over, and the remaining matches will be boring).

If England loose two quick wickets, then England and Aussies will be level :D

England fan on BBC.

"From Chris in South London: "Aggers [0343] - my heart's pounding with nerves and my toes are cold under my duvet.""

:)))

Just shows what can happen if you actually move the ball.

I'm just glad Australia are competing. Their attack will still find it hard to take 20 wickets though.

lol at the two different contrasting styles. One's got incredible technique, plays beautiful shots, effortlessly finds the boundaries. My favourite English batsmen but at times struggles under pressure.

And then there's Collingwood. Ugly but effective when the pressure's on :D
