I can keep a cool head but I have been in this situation before so I don't know how I will react to it.

In any case, I will try to keep it simple; of course I won't tell her that I love or something like that. I would fish for an opening to start a conversation with her. At least break the shackles so that whenever I see her, I can go up to her and greet her etc. That would be an opening in my opinion.

We have no friendship at the moment and if I immediately ask her out she will freak out most likely. I should get to know her first and develop some mutual understanding.
 
And I must resist the urge of smelling her because it would completely freak her out.

I have this annoying habit of smelling everything before tasting or eating something and we had an old maid who said that if you keep smelling bread, you will turn into a monkey and this is how monkeys evolved from humans. :uakmal
