Gamesmanship or a genuine mistake?

Zak Crawley was rubbing his shoulder when the ball was nowhere near it and he had, in fact, gloved it down the leg side. . . . Zak was smiling to himself and was eventually given out on a DRS review.

Feel free to discuss Zak’s example…

…and use this thread for any other potential and/or confirmed “gamesmanship” examples! :)

Gamesmanship or cheating?

Intentionally trying to lead the umpire into making an incorrect decision could be construed as cheating

It seems like he was trying to deceive the umpire. But, let's give him benefit of doubt.

lol what a dumb excuse.

The cramp disappeared the moment final decision was made :yk

If we look at yellow cards in football for diving and feigning injuries etc then this sort of thing needs looking at in cricket.

Too many players trying to con the umpires and it's about time umpires started to take action.

If an umpire is decieved by this type of cheap theatrics then he has no business being an umpire.

Nothing wrong with this. The DRS is there for a reason, remember?

Pakistan 268-9 (Naseem 6, Ali 0) - TARGET 343

England are not happy, Ali ran off during the tea break and the tourists wait. Did he need to use the toilet or was it a delaying tactic with the light fading?
