I haven't joined a club or team before. I am trying to join this year but its kinda hard when you got no support. From who you wanna play for.

Who, me? I'm just telling you people.

Your love for food makes me laugh sometimes. Everyone seems to love food here! :)

I meant Mamoon :)

Whats not to love about food? Has food ever failed anyone? Ever screamed/shouted/pained/hurt anyone?

Food is so beautiful, how can you not love food? :')

Economics, it's basically saying is it good if there are more firms (in a specific market).

In A-Levels there are less exams.

Then don't worry about it. You can't write too much in economics. Dont worry about it.

Define awful. For some snobs, anything below an A grade is awful.
er if thats what snobs are like imagine what I am haha but I reckon I have no chance of an A* now, only an A maximum in Chemistry. I probably got a B in that exam but inshallah I got an A-A* in my Chemistry part 1

Be grateful please. No matter what grade you get.
The problem is that I don't roll that away...You need to get into a profession, a good University and a good job. I don't wanna be a typical british pakistani who's a taxi driver lol...Engineering/Economics- one of the two I want to go in to. I actually enjoy engineering, its not a typical brown man thing to do lol

I'm sure anything less then an A grade doesn't mean that you will end up driving taxis.

Mamoon you don't understand how much competition there is to get in to the top(russel group) universities...Like Birmingham, LSE, Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Imperial etc. etc.
People who are applying for my courses get like 5-6A* for GCSE and then another 4 As in A levels....

You are getting it wrong. You can't imagine the insane competition for government medical colleges in Pakistan. It's crazy. My point is don't get too disappointed if you don't get the desired grades. Be thankful. Many people fail. B is still very decent.

Russel group? Is that like the Ivy League?

I should add - I didnt get an A in psycho

Wow! Did you get a B?

Good-Chemistry part1
awful-chemistry part 2
v.good-RE- like I said, all I did was make up quotes about Christianity cos I know the examiners isn't exactly gonna have a bible ready lol

You never know the grade boundaries for unit 2 might be low, i'm gonna be in the same position as you next month, 3 exams in 1 day  R.E yh you can just write some random hadith :))

Yh I guess so, I was just wondering lool.

Okay, not having cheese cake.
I'm having hot brownie with vanilla ice cream.

It is not that hard as you made it out to be but it is hard. Seen people go to these universities with 2 As in A levels.

Dw your GCSE results don't matter too much.

I really don't give a crap about my grades being good or not...The main reason these grades are important is because I need them to get into University...I know a B may seem decent to you but you do understand the competition...especially if I want to do something like Engineering such as Structural or maybe Mechanical or Economics such as Actuary, Bank investor(grades not really required-money is which comes from good grade) and if All that fails, then I will look at things like Accountancy.

That's what everyone initially says
Say I get 4 A* in GCSE and 4 As in A level and I'm being compared to someone who got 4 As also in A level but 5 A* in gcse...which one will you choose(not considering DofE and other extracurricular activities?
Its something to worry about- I can easily get into the 6forms and colleges I'd want to but Idc about...its about Unis

Well that's obvious that certain universities don't accept anything lower than A* or A.

Uni of Southampton came to my school.
Minimum requirements: 2 A*'s and one A at A levels, in maths physics and chemistry for mech engineering. Extremely high.

I won't take "never mind" for an answer. Please explain if you can. :)

Paper 2 is an easier paper for core biology students who take the easier core biology course, but the maximum achievable grade is a C even if you get full marks in the core biology.
Paper 3 is the extended biology where you can get up to an A*.

Never heard of this before... I'll check it out.

Paper 3 is supplement, paper 2 is core. It's true that those who give paper 2 can't get more than C. That's how it was back in my time.

My friend got only 1 B at GCSE 4 A's at AS, got an offer from LSE without an interview but he got rejected by Cambridge. Other friend his results weren't the best, he also had a D in English Language but he got 4 A's in AS. Who would you rather take? The 1st one because his GCSE's were much better but the 2nd one got an offer from Cambridge.
