Had just been to the pulmonologist. There were two patients before me, females, and he gave them 29 and 31 minutes respectively and me only three minutes. Why?

No. Probably because me is a healthy young man whereas they both were well over 70 and understandably required more attention.

Also, the time was cut short because I didn´t allow the pulmonologist to examine my chest: Didn´t want him to see the PTI ('Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf') tattoo.

Didn´t find much so far, but read a few chapters on some website. Fascinated me! Was lost in it!

Oh ok .. glad that you didn't have the same patient experience when you were at an ENT doc.



A little old lady goes to the doctor and says,
"Doctor I have this severe problem with gas, but it really doesn't bother me too much. My farts never smell and are always silent. As a matter of fact, I've farted at least 20 times since I've been here in your office. You didn't know I was farting because they don't smell and are silent."

The doctor says, "I see, take these pills and come back to see me next week."

The next week the lady comes back. "Doctor," she says, "I don't know what the hell you gave me, but now my farts...although still silent...stink terribly."

The doctor says,"Good!!! Now that we've cleared up your sinuses, let's work on your hearing."

I am not liking that bearded man on your avatar because I have always imagined you as a clean shaved, soft man. That beard will just feel like a brush whilst giving you a brotherly hug you know.

The beard hasn't hindered my ability to get hugs in the past. If anything it acts as a hug magnet.
 
i confirm that Riddle does have chest hair. in case anyone doubts because of his young age.
 
of course I have , and I am thinkin about sporting a good old moustache as well

It has to go into their brains thru their ear and eyes first, before it spits out from their mouths.
After the 24/7 TV, violent video games and social environment in which they are brought up you can't complain much.
 
Just came to know that a former class fellow of mine (from school) died in a car accident along with her husband and baby boy sometime back.
She used to be our class Proctor. Never interacted with her much but this news still came across as a shock.

May Allah grant her a place in Jannah. Aameen!

I've been slowly learning a huge life lesson over the past couple of weeks. Been very headstrong for the better part of a few years now, but I reckon I'll be pulling back the throttle on that to the best of my ability, starting now.
 
TM Riddle this is random but how big of an A7x fan are you? Because I'm a massive one and haven't really come across anyone as passionate as myself when it comes to the band :D and Synyster Gates is my favorite guitarist and the Rev my fav drummer ever :)

hey just noticed this post..not a massive fan but I like Syn as a guitarist..my third favorite guitarist after slash and Jimi page ..I agree Rev is a good drummer

Tasted ice-cream "Carte Dor" of Wall's.

I have never eaten such a vapid ice-cream in my life ....It was totally insipid....You would be better not to buy it ....I have to say that its television commercial is more tasteful than the product itself ....

Wasted money and the time to eat it :facepalm:

I am really missing the pranks of my younger brother at home.he went to delhi for further studies and will be back only after 6 months.this times eid will be without him and bcoz of this,mom is really sad.Please Allah,keep him safe and happy there.

Life is all about this: Separations and distances from your beloved ones! I am thankful to God however that I haven´t experienced much of this in life - and I pray that it doesn´t happen either. Indeed, may God keep your brother safe.
 
My local masjid keeps asking people to reduce their donations for daily Iftaar because there is simply too much.
I find that quite amazing. People are literally giving a lot of food. :)

The masjid people have resorted to selling some of the food and drinks (like cartons of water, etc) to raise money to maintain the mosque + for charity. :)

It is a well documented fact here on PP that I am myself not a fan of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and it is quite clear that he operates for PML-N (ab)using his position. However, calling him a "kaana" just because of the problem with one of his eyes is utterly disgraceful and an act of shamelessness! Nothing of what he does holds any connection with any of his eyes. People need to behave better and take more responsibility of what they say and write.

I am not quite accusing people of any discriminatory behaviour, but we must think from all and different point of views whilst making such a comment.

Just a bit of an update on this - she seems to be an utter recluse every alternate day - and with all her friends, not just me. Is very cheerful and talkative one day and goes MIA on the next. Probably bipolar. :91:
 
I don’t believe this was worthy of its separate thread but I will still aim to make my point in this topic-less thread.

The point I’d like to make is I can’t comprehend what the purpose of applying tattoos are. Although I acknowledge that they are usually applied in order to remember significant memorable moment in the person who received the tattoo/a possession important to the recipient of the tattoo, I believe they just seem tacky and vulgar, especially when visible. For some reason, I just think they have connotations with drug-taking or a darker, unpleasant side to the person but that isn't the point. The purpose of this post is to consider: what does one achieve by receiving a tattoo? Nothing, apart from a mass of green on your arms if you apply as many as David Beckham. Now, not for one moment am I suggesting that I have any right to choose what people do with their bodies; I'm merely proposing the idea that they look tacky and people will later regret their choice. I know quite a number of people who have declared that having a tattoo applied was a major mistake but one they can't physically remove - because the method of removing tattoos is supposed to be painful.
