I think what makes Darby unique is his personality and his in-ring ability. He has a slight edge to his personality that probably connects with a certain age-group, and he wrestles in a very realistic way... like how a guy of his size would. He also takes a beating unlike anything I've seen a wrestler take, and is a very good seller. And whatever you or I may think of the crazy + unnecessary risks he takes, it does set him apart.

I don't think he has been booked well in AEW, but then alot of other wrestlers have been booked poorly too. As someone who has followed AEW fairly regularly for the past five years and can honestly identify all the things wrong with this company; I'd say that he is still someone who manages to standout along with a few others.

He's not on the level of an MJF or Ospreay, Moxley but someone who can be a level below that because of what he offers.

I don’t know, I think over-time, his bumps have aged even worse so I avoid giving him any praise there - in-fact one of them led to an awakening off William Regal on social media and he never says anything. His gimmick has been the same since his AEW debut from what I can see & I agree that at this point he is better foil in the mid-card or when you need to use him to get heat on somebody else or a showcase for a top guy, with the hometown thing I thought about it again and I think if I was on board with it, it would have been one of their mid-card belts

Great point. These guys have been as awful as the Wyatts because they have been locked in the same feud seemingly for ages. Yet the Wyatts somehow get fired but these guys don't? eventhough they are on the exact same level. Juts goes to show what a joke of an organization TKO and WWE is; predatory TO THE BONE. And I guess nepotism goes a long way here too.

All the guys he couldn’t get over are released, in the past talent without plans or TV time got fired and we were like oh damn - but we saw it coming. This is just petty & a snake move from H to hide his own incompetence.

I would actually say the Wyatt 6 are the biggest victims here, wont be easy to find work (maybe TNA), they just put them together to milk Bray’s death before H ran out of ideas on what to do with them, Bray himself was a victim of this because H had no clue how to book him or any star with real personality or character - anything which genuinely needs him to be a proper manager, he don’t know what to do.

I think the MCMG’s will be just fine and they could have done with being away from that clueless booker.

The thought process should be simple.

Delegate booking and producing of women's matches to Natalya

Men's top card can be handled by Paul Heyman

Men's tag team should be handled by people who know how to build dynamics in tab teams and not just propping one because they had two people free and didn't have a prominent story line for them

Big nose Haitch can still maintain overall control etc but its clear that he is not delegating

He makes it appear as though he is delegating on Unreal to try and avoid taking the heat when the cameras are not rolling & now got cover from the TKO top brass

I think nikki cross will be back as an individual performer. She might find takers in AEW as well. Lumis could have been kept on as a partner with Gargano especially after they let Ciampa go. One more blunder.

He's politicked so hard to get in power, won't leave till he's fired.
Booking tag division should be tasked to someone who understands tag team wrestling well.
Heyman should only book mainevent feuds.
Vince is irreplaceable.
HBK and Taker even big show can do a much better job than Noseley.

He was a good booker when he has just NXT to worry about.

The scale now is much bigger and he's probably being shown as lacking.
