Michael Holding chats to Saj about why he retired from cricket commentary, his thoughts on the ECIC report, why upbringing and education affects people's behaviour, the importance of re-educating society, the problems within English cricket, how he hopes the ECIC report will mean that people will not be afraid to speak up in future, the importance of side-lining people with racist views, how he hopes that the apologies and promises are sincere and not just box-ticking exercises and more.

I liked him as a commentator before the T20 leagues started. After that he became a bitter individual. I hate T20 leagues, but that doesn't mean I'll pick on players who chose to play them.

Brilliant commentator.

Wonderful analyst and his knowledge of the game was brilliant.

Great voice too.

A lot better than most of the current commentators.

Nice interview. Didn't always agree with Mikey's opinions on T20 but he had a heavenly voice for broadcasting and wasn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers unlike many of the dull, corporate approved monotones we hear today on the mic.

As good a commentator as he was a fast bowler. He knew his game, had an impeccable knowledge of cricket and was not afraid to say his mind. On top of it all, he was a friend of Pakistan cricket.

Mickey Holding has always been an inspiration for fast-bowlers around the world. His words after retirement also mean a lot.

Yesterday was the birthday of the great Michael Holding aka "The Whispering Death". Team PakPassion wish him a belated birthday. Born February 16,1954

A phenomenal bowler and commentator.
