Is Hasnain still chucking? Stoinis seems to think so, and these guys were proven right last time

Whether he is chucking or not, these Australian players are sad and pathetic losers for reacting the way that they do.

Grow up, stop acting like a child and let the umpires do their job.

Would love to see them do that when Bumrah gets them out

Deeply unprofessional conduct from Stoinis.

History has shown remodeled action results in decline in performance.

Let's see how Hasnain does.

Shocking reaction from Stoinis.

If there is an issue with Hasnain's action, that's for umpires to decide. Not Stoinis or any other player.

As a player you are not supposed to be signalling such things and there should be some protocol. Otherwise wise whats stopping no strikers to signal no balls when the file like it and other such things which are to be done by the umpires and match referees.

Coming to Hasnain’s action, even when he was called it was one style of delivery as he mentioned in an interview which was the main issue. He worked upon it remodelled his action and was cleared by both ICC as well as CA. Not sure what exactly is the issue for Stoinis here, he got out to a good ball, accept it and move on. If there will be bend over 15 degrees for any bowler the ICC and tournament body will intervene, if you don’t trust them then even then question can be raised for even the first time Hasnain was called.

Cricket is already a sissy sport. Dont find an issue where players can make such claims.

Besides, the australian players were right about hasnain the first time werent they?

Unless and until and opposing player wont signall it, often the chuking might get overlooked.

This pic doing the rounds on Twitter - not from last night's game, though

i remember Imran Khan first bowling action , then the new action
totally different then the old action , like some other bowler

such a guy, how much he has self believe...

Yeah, imagine if every batsman started doing such things against any bowler they suspect, didn't like or just out of frustation? It would get ugly.

Will be good if Hasnain does the same when Stoinis is bowling, even if he does from the dressing room it's fine. Just got to give it back to such losers.

I haven't noticed any change as such in his action from before when he first came onto the scene to the one now since he came back into cricket again. Could be a very slight modification but very hard to pick from the naked eye.

Full video of dismissal and Stoinis reaction added to post#1

Don't see anything wrong in that delivery. But, as it has happened before like in BBL, i think Hasnain will be under more scrutiny by umpires.

PCB should hire Stoinis as a bowling consultant considering he picked up on his action within a few balls compared to the management who have been seeing him for years.

Come on you Australian loosers move on,as you were proved wrong again and again in Shoaib Akhtar's case so you will again feel the shame in Hasnain's case....

I don't Hasnain should do such a dumb thing. CA will finish his career in no time. Why pick up fight with players with powerful boards like Ind, Aus or Eng? Instead he should concentrate on performance.

There's this attitude from some players and nations that we can say anything and do anything about players of some nations.

This is one of those instances.

Pathetic from Stoinis.

Australians as usual bullish in nature..they just do it pointlessly to get into the skin of opposition. It is their sports culture actually, the kids grow up in such environments where they get bullied at teenage level and that's probably also the reason when they reach at highest level, they become experts doing this to others.

Against Australians, always always show animosity even if it leads to showing unprofessionalism.

According to a media report:

Stoinis was spoken to by match referee Dean Cosker, but he will not be formally charged with a breach of the disciplinary code of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

And as expected no action A fine shouldve been a minimum Its absolutely outrageous to throw such accusations against other comperitors

This amounts to showing dissent he’s in effect disrespecting the umpire’s decision, many players have been sanctioned for just looking at their bat to hint the umpire got it wrong. The sanctioning came in to play in the 90s. But nothing happens to Stoinis. Typical really.

Exactly.

What happened to "players play and umpires umpire".

Way out of line to do that. The guy has already been investigated for his action so he will always be looked at by officials after that. No need for Stoinis to publicly try and influence the situation and humiliate or bully the guy. Last time I checked Stoinis was not a trained biomechanist.

True. It's a but of a right of passage that you come into grade cricket (from juniors) and get your ears bashed by old sledgers or courage tested out by the quicks.

It's actually slowly going out of the game by generations but it still happens.

I’m more concerned about the position of his feet than his arms there :amir

Apart from the huge no ball, what would Pont make of the alignment of that front toe/ankle! What happened to getting everything flowing in the same direction for starters?

The action looks fine now and completely different to when it was super obvious chucking during the BBL.

Embarrassing stuff from Stoinis

Pathetic from the Aussie, why is it always them?

Feel sorry for the kid who is loving playing in England, it must have upset him.

Next time one of our batsmen should make that gesture when Marcus Stoinis is bowling. Thats what Kohli would do...stand up for your team mate

Kohli belongs to BCCI and get away with that easily where PCB is backbone less organization. Why should a player risk his career by picking up fight with rich board. PCB will be forced to suspend him.

And no sanctions/fine. What exactly a player is supposed to do other then to make mockery of the system, the umpires and match referee to get sanctions?

I don’t usually go much into double standards by the associations and bodies but, sometimes you just have to talk about certain things. On the other hand for some other nations 10-20% match fees fines are given like a day to day affair. Celebrated too much? Lets have a fine, argued with an umpire? Lets have another one.

Here the guy is openly questioning an action of an opposition player in a most casual manner because he was frustrated by his dismissal and just a small talk. There is another young career at stake, there are rules and regulations at stake but, he avoids sanctions.

Bowlers who have been called once will always have cloud hanging over their action. It is reality that they have to live with.

Opposition players shouldn't be allowed to carry that cloud over the action though. Its not their job.

Totally agree with this.

Also bringing the game to disrepute

True but how much can referee or umpire police? There will always be snide remarks coming on and off field, disparaging comments in print/social media, troll memes etc.

Best thing player can do is block it out and not react to any such goading. If you take enough wkts it won't matter if anyone whines about action

Fair enough. However, Stoinis deserved the criticism as well as fine here. There is a certain decorum which you expect at least international players to follow. Players can put the remarks and all the bullying tactics on the field as they do but, gestures for camera and your dugouts should be kept in check.

Sorry, that's bull.

You gotta draw a line somewhere. It isn't that hard. Don't allow such gestures on field while the world is watching you on screen.

All they had to do was charge him. If it isn't in rules, then make it.

People love to believe nothing can be changed about anything ever.

I don't see anything wrong. Stoinis did not do that on the pitch or on the face of Hasnain. He did that while walking away half way through to the pavilion.

Ummm, he was still on the field and the crowd and people watching it on telly ALL seen this gesture so its not acceptable what he did. If Husnain has bent his arm then show us the footage, No-one has still posted a close up of the footage and yet some saying he is chucking, if he is then yes he ought to be re-tested again otherwise Stoinis is playing with someones career here, its not nice when he has been working hard and got his action re-modelled.

Why always the aussies.

No. Sorry, you are completely off mark here.

It isn't about Hasnain's action. Stonis is no one to make a judgement on Hasnain, regardless of his action. It's none of his business. The umpires are there.

Gesturing like that is no way to make your point even if you have a genuine point.

You have a mouth, you have a brain. Approach the umpire discreetly and tell him your view if you really have one.

I agree that Stionis shouldnt get involved, the umpires are there to manage something like that. He should have got a fine for that.

So was he on the pitch or in the pavilion am pretty sure it can't be both.
