It's very thought provoking if you notice the tone even if it was said jokingly.

He is EXTREMELY underconfident. His focus is more towards avoiding the possible heat he may get from the Misbah and Waqar rather than being 100% fully focused on the game.

Can you imagine, Kyle Jamieson or Southee or Boult, or Shami or Bumra or Starc or Hazelwood etc having this kind of worry and this kind of conversation if they were in this situation? Not in a million years.

Again, it's the lack of man management.

These new players have given NO CONFIDENCE, NO APPRECIATION, NO BACKING UP and NO AUTONOMY to be able to think freely ....... Its all about the fear tactic of, "Do it or else!"

Did you ever hear Wasim Akrams interview where he said he got out and then locked himself straight in the dressing room bathroom so that he doesn't get blasted by Imran Khan.... look how Wasim turned out... they need to be made accountable... and they needs stronger mindset where they can take criticism and better themselves.
