[VIDEOS] Pakistan players in Big Bash League 2025/26: Performance Watch

Well he (like most other Pakistani players) is a little....different.
How? Harris Rauf with his pendu antics fits right in with Melbourne?

Even Babar to some extent fits in with Sixers.

Shadab has no problem either. Hassan seems fine too.

So how are you generalising with Rizwan for all of Pakistan?

What is your definition of "fits right in"?

Most of our players do fine.

Even ifti chachu was partying on a boat with overseas players during global T20 in Caribbean.

And are players quickly become integral to their counties and have long stints year after year becoming fan favourites and embedding into the club/county culture.

This is a weird generalisation of Pakistanis.

Rizwan is sitting all alone in the dug out. Is he not fitting in with the team off the play?
Pressure on overseas players in a league where you can only select two at a time is huge. Especially if you are a big ticket signing. You can lose the dressing room very quickly in a high intensity environment.

Hopefully this gives a wake up call to work on their games.

The rest of the guys have done pretty good. Hassan Ali and Rauf being the standouts.

When the details come out, you will probably see that the Rizwan deal probably has some under the table negotiations. Their agent got Babar to sign directly at Sydney, and he’s done some work to get Rizwan and Shaheen registered too. Rizwan wouldn’t have registered in BBL if he didn’t have assurance before hand that he’s getting picked. I suspect the agent has played a big role here in just ensuring Rizwan plays to keep him in the limelight.

The limelight is there, and it’s not boding well for him or Babar.

Melbourne Stars vs Sydney Sixers, 27th Match

Haris rauf and Babar azam are in action here... babar will bat soon and Haris rauf will bowl to him if babar survives first few overs...LOL

Seeing the BBL social media accounts glazing two failed Pakistani cricketers just for likes and interactions is just sad.

A bowler gets a batsman out, no mention of the bowler who took the wicket, as if Babar took a blinder.

When a renegades bowler gets a wicket, you’ll see posts from the BBL account purely focusing on Rizwan’s reaction to the dismissal.

Why did they drop the good left handed opener? Guy called Hughes? They dropped him but kept Babar?

They need the attention, I can understand it. BBL is not a highly watched league. Might aswell get their monies worth with impressions from Babar Army and Rizwan Army fan accounts. Not like the players are going to deliver the ROI on the field...

Shockingly poor numbers, especially for Rizwan
