[VIDEOS] Pakistan players in Big Bash League 2025/26: Performance Watch

What’s more?

44 off 43 against USA?

Why can’t you people just stop with this and accept he just isn’t a T20 player?!
He was the top scorer for Pak in that match team, if it wasn't due to his runs, we would have never gone to Super over and woudld have lost convincingly.

Shadab is the top scorer for his team, Sydney Thunder, 25 off 24 balls for him...

Sydney Thunder congratulate Shadab Khan on his selection in Pakistan’s squad for their upcoming T20 International series against Sri Lanka.

Shadab will depart for Sri Lanka on January 4 after Thunder’s clash with the Hurricanes at ENGIE Stadium and return for the Sydney Smash on January 16 at the SCG. He will also be available for finals, should Thunder qualify.

The 27-year-old all-rounder has impressed in his first season in lime green, scoring 100 runs at 33.33 and taking six wickets to be Thunder’s top wicket-taker after four matches.

Shadab said he’s excited to once again represent his country and looking forward to rejoining the Thunder squad later in the season.

“It’s a great honour to represent Pakistan and to be selected for the upcoming T20 series.” Shadab said.

“It’s been an incredible experience with Thunder so far and I've felt a lot of support in my time here. I can’t wait to come back at the end of the season and hopefully help the team in finals run.”

Sydney Thunder General Manager Trent Copeland said:

“Shadab has been outstanding for us this season and we’re excited to see him earn another opportunity with Pakistan. Representing your country is always a huge honour. We wish him all the best and look forward to welcoming him back for the most important part of our season.”

Thunder are in the final stages of securing a top-quality overseas replacement player while Shadab is away.

Thunder return home to ENGIE Stadium tomorrow night to face the Perth Scorchers in the second annual Wrap Party. It’s set to be an unforgettable night of big-hitting action, live music, fireworks and – for the first time in the BBL – LED wristbands lighting up the entire stadium. Click here to purchase tickets.

Fans can catch all the action live on 7, 7 Plus, Fox Cricket and Kayo from 7:15pm (AEDT).

Sydney Thunder BBL|15 Squad:
Wes Agar, Charlie Anderson, Tom Andrews, Cameron Bancroft, Sam Billings (ENG), Ollie Davies, Lockie Ferguson (NZ), Matthew Gilkes, Chris Green, Ryan Hadley, Shadab Khan (PAK), Sam Konstas, Nic Maddinson, Nathan McAndrew, Blake Nikitaras, Aidan O'Connor, Daniel Sams, Tanveer Sangha, Reece Topley (ENG), David Warner

They've pretty much all flopped. But at least they get some key game time at a high quality league.

Another bad performance for Mohammad Rizwan as he scored 16 off 12 against Hurricanes

This is the flattest track in BBL apparently

That’s why Brown and Siefert were going very hard because they know they need a big score on the board

Rizwan just doing typical Rizwan things. He knew he had 5 balls left of the powerplay so he showed intent to inflate his sr first. Then was looking to accumulate, rotate or whatever crap he calls it…

Then premeditated his shots to the leggies. He’s been doing this recently. Desperate to play the reverse sweep to the leggies

The most pointless signing ever.

Surely they can bring in someone from ILT20 once it finishes? Rizwan performing or not performing makes absolutely no improvement to them

Rizwan and zimbabar has been useless for their respective teams.
Shaheen looks even worse than a domestic bowler.

Hasan has been decent and shadab has done well as well.

Haris is the best of the lot and he is the leading wicket taker so far in the tournament.

Wade smashing Gurinder brought back some beautiful memories of him taking Shaheen to the cleaners. What a throwback finishing performance by Matty Wade :inti

Sydney Thunder vs Perth Scorchers, 16th Match

Shadab is playing for Thunders here and he is back to his usual bowling... 1 over 12 runs so far.

Turner my boy. Thanks for the entertainment and a jackpot for me.

Beautiful batting.

:kp

Rauf has been very good.
Shadab has been good.
Hassan Ali mediocre.
Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen have been poor.

How long before Babar is dropped from the Sixers team? He looks so out of touch.

4 off 4 and gone as Thunder chase a 203-run target vs Scorchers in the ongoing match

Strikers' Hasan Ali bowled Heat's Jimmy Pierson to bag his first wicket of the ongoing match. Hasan 1/20 at the moment with three overs bowled.

Hasan Ali has been better than expected. Haris Rauf has continued his performances in Australian conditions. Shadab has actually been pretty decent to be fair. Not enough for national selection.

The other three have been woeful to NO. ONES. SURPRISE.

I think Rizwan will redeem himself a bit towards the end. Not enough to be termed a success but enough to spare his blushes.

Overall I've been very happy with Shadab, Haris and Hassan Ali.

Shaheen was misused too and ultimately he got injured so can't be too upset at his performances.

Melbourne Renegades vs Sydney Sixers, 18th Match

So RIzwan vs Babar coming up in an hour's time.....

How much they paid Rizwan to play? Have they not seen him in the internationals? Couldn
t they find a west indian hitter?

6 runs in 10 balls. A crosse batted heeve ho against back of a length ball dragged on to stumps. HE looks out of place.

10 balls 6 runs for Rizwan...LOL

Maybe rizwan should make an excuse of some injury and return back to Pakistan like Shaheen.

The two ANCHORS, that dragged the team down, still have some blind fan following...whacky 😳 stuff!

babar putting hughes under pressure with his slow SR and forcing him to get out
classic

Babar has played 24 balls and still looking like he has just come to the crease.

Got two of his team-mates out so far, great stuff.

Don't see people who were puting blames on babar before, talking about his run scoring atm???

Where are you?

If you bowl into his pads we should be alirght a player is talking about Babar lol IT is almost like they don't want to dismiss him.

Apparently this game was sold out?

I can see 50% capacity only

Hahaha. Broadcasters glazed Babar as "The Anchor" but gave MOTM to Sean Abbott for his 3 wickets
