The standards PCB is setting to Appoint a captain are going down day by day. First, they re-instated Babar then made SHAN the captain of the test team and now thinking about Haris.

Haris might be experienced and he might as well go like Sarfaraz 2.0, but we have to bear the thing that his own performance might be zero.
 
The lengths these idiots will go to ensure that they have a ‘yes-man’ at the helm.

They know making Shadab captain will backfire on them massively, and Rizwan will not be a ‘yes-man’ for them.

State of affairs when the cricket board is more worried about who they can control than who can actually win games for Pakistan.

Pathetic.

I would argue he is plain stupid tbh. There is a difference in being outspoken for the truth and speaking out loud stupidly. Rizwan does the latter. That doesn’t mean he’s not a ‘yes-man’.

Regardless, he is not a yes man.

He is laying demands to accept captaincy according to various sources, so that does not qualify as a yes man. The general consensus among the PCB personnel is that Rizwan would be difficult to 'control'. I think we are starting to understand why Shaheen was removed by this regime in the first place.

He is not eleigible to play even club cricket but here is the perfect examlpe of "Jab Allah meherbaan to gadha pehelwaan"
 
A bit of shaheen about Mo Harris' batting today, slogging aimlessly but not much technique, 11(10) today. one of his 4's looked convincing. the rest of his runs looked streaky
 
Give him 50 games and nothing will change if he is not willing to work on his game. I see zero improvement from his previous international failures. Yes, he is in the team for his aggression but this isn't club cricket where you can whack every ball, you have to give the bowler the respect he deserves. Also you can't premeditate every third shot you play. At present he has too many flaws in his game to be of much use.
 
Has got heart of a tiger and a selfless player , today he knew it will be curtains for him if he doesn’t score today yet he batted fearlessly, however having said that he is not an opener and is not good against moving delivery plus he also not a good player of spin bowling either , he can just smash dead straight pace bowlers (even 145k+ bowlers too)

sometimes a positive attitude and good cricketing brain is Enough to be successful in international cricket even if you are not super talented and he’s got a heart of a lion.
 
So you clearly do have a better, modern T20 keeper+batsman than Rizwan do you not?

No. 3 spot should be for a stabilizer. Right now Salman is occupying it. So Babar or Rizwan has to fight for that spot. Rest of the batting should just be explosive.

Agha is actually better. He has improved immensely during last two years. He can hit sixes against spin and pace far more regularly than Babar who is very limited. Agha had sr of 140+ in last PSL.

Another gem I’m backing for a LONG time and it’s absolutely criminal he was dropped for that big boy Azam Khan!!!

Taking Azam to T20 World Cup in USA rather than M Haris. But I’m glad that things got further exposed during this time.

He should get a very long run and he will deliver just like Saim Ayub.

Keep backing these boys who know how to hit pace! They know how to improvise and innovate! Even if they fail in first 20 matches.
 
Haris needs to show at least some glimpses of consistency as well... His score last game was a perfect inning that we required from him but can ho do it more often???

I think for that he will need to play more FC games. Sometimes players take long to understand their own game.

Guy doesn't even have a FC hundred yet.

But what i like about him so many range of shots even babar doesn't have those shots in his locker which harris has he just need to give himself time on crease he can take the whole match away hitting sixes straight to jamieson was some doing.

He plays shots all around. The same ball he will hit you straight or back up the keeper's head. This virtually makes it impossible to stop the flow of runs unless you get him out.
 
So another failure for Haris. After scoring that 41 in the 3rd t20, he went back to basics...

It was an unplayable delivery tbh.. But we expect too much yes.

Had a chance to put a lid on Rizwan T 20 career but alas however I think he works as a 6 or 7 in T 20 if Saim and Fakhar/another opener are opening
 
Haris is a blind slogger. Give Shaheen or Haris Rauf 10 games as openers and their average will not be much different from what Haris will produce in the same number of games. I hope this series will put to rest our obsession with talentless hacks him.
 
Gotta say that he was beyond mediocre here.

It was said 3 years ago , here we still see him playing same kinda whacks , such an ugly inns, i think only half the number of times he put bat on ball in his inns today...
