This early start time of 6 pm for the evening matches will create a lot of problems for teams batting first as there will be a lot of dew after 8 pm. The BCCI will rue allowing the tv company to dictate the match times for this season.

If it was CSK batting first today, imagine Dhoni would have been very public in his criticism of the scheduling as he has always been a proponent of later start times to ensure parity in conditions for both teams.

Rayudu is among the Top3-5 best players of spin in last 2 decades and easily the best around . He has issues when he has to hit quality pace bowlers , but that just means he’s playing in wrong format and he gets the hate cos India has better batsmen suited for shorter formats , not necessarily better batsmen overall .
