Looks a nothing bowler, no flight,no spin and no guile. I amazed the Gloucester have re signed him but good look to him.
 
Zafar Gohar bags a michelle five-for for Gloucestershire against Derbyshire in their first innings in the LV County Division 2 championship. The 28 year old left-arm othodix spinner ended up with 5-122 in his 39.4 overs. Let's see what he can conjur up in the 2nd innings
 
Much better than the so called nepotism spinners in the Pakistan team. Proven and done the county graft. Give him a go.Miles ahead of Shadab and Nawaz. Has the desire and the anger.
 
Zafar Gohar took 3 wickets for 38 in the first innings against Sussex.
 
This is the guy who must be playing for Pakistan in this world cup.

He is getting that much turn on england's pitches, so imagine what he could have been done on spin friendly tracks here in India.

He is way better option than Nawaz!
 
Best spinner in Pakistan, not sure why he continues to get ignored. Sad when English counties have more sense than a national side
 
Played 13 County matches this season and averaged 48.93 per wicket which is worrying especially as Gloucestershire play in Div 2.

Jack Leach played 14 matches and averaged 29.45 with a slightly better economy.

Sadly he isnt very good. Just as bad as all the other guys. Hopefully M Rameez will start to get some A tours. He looks to have potential. I would also invest in Asghar and Junaid the offie
 
This guy such a gem just wonder why Pak selectors don't give him a chance. He is a super talented spinner and can easily replace the likes of nawaz and shadab
 
Zafar Gohar looked good in domestic and county cricket but his last year at Gloucester was a disaster as a blower. He could not do much with the ball. I don't think that we will see him in Pakistan's jersey anytime soon.

Yup exactly, not saying he is guaranteed to set the world on fire but on paper and by performance he has been the best of all Pakistan spinners and deserves a chance.

Yeah it was a relatively poor performance from him but he still has a good first class average and has well earned a run. We gave Shadab Khan 6 years of ODIs and T20s and he's been horrendous; Gohar deserves a minimum of a few series to showcase what he as
 
Been saying for ages he should have been part of our test team for a while now, not sure why he keeps getting ignored

After back-to-back fifties, now he has a fifer. In 18.4 overs, he claimed figures of 5/59. Amazing stuff from Zafar Gohar

He should get the Player of the Match award

Zafar Gohar shines in the County Championship with a brilliant all round performance for Gloucestershire.

After all round performance in last match, Zafar Gohar is not playing today against Middlesex in county 2024. I don't see the reason to drop him for this match
 
Despite scoring two half-centuries in both innings of the previous match, Zafar Gohar failed to put on a show with the bat against Northamptonshire, being dismissed for 8 off 31.

Zafar Gohar is an all-rounder similar to Ravindra Jadeja and has the potential to be impactful for Pakistan in Test cricket.

Yes, he is a proper spinner and not some hack as I can judge by his performances. Can't say much about his international form because he never got a chance to play LOL

I've seen him bowl, Abrar is better but this guy is very good and would compliment abrar extremely well or would be an excellent back up.

I retract what I said about Hafeez.

Yeah brother. RIP domestic cricket. If sajid khan can play for Pakistan then this guy deserves more chance than him. He nad Abrar could be a good combination as Zafar can bat as well so you have that luxury in the lower middle order as well.
 
Zafar Gohar might be in action today for his team Gloucestershire which is set to face Leicestershire in the country Championship match.

This guy has been with them for a few years now and has been performing well. I think Pakistan needs this type of player who is a good bowler and a handy batter as well.
