Anderson exposed him like a school boy in England. Kohli inspite of his batting class is still a one dimensional batsman who likes to attack from the get go and that was a huge problem for him against the dukes ball in England.

The play shouldn't have started if the outfield was wet. This not only makes it tough for the spinner to hold the ball but it also doesn't allow the team to maintain the ball for reverse swing later on. Virat being upset was reasonable to an extent. But he and the team has to move on from that. Get a 4th inning target below 225.

It was all of the above. Lillee was sledging him non-stop, but so were the other Aussies. The guys in the slips would taunt him on personal level. One example that Sunny quotes - "Hey Sunny, you know what so-and-so is doing to your wife when you're batting here?" Disgusting stuff like this, but standard Aussie practice as we all know.

Umpiring was terrible throughout the series. Again, that was always the case -- Aus had the second worst umpires in the world those days, after you-know-who.

The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Michael Gough and Paul Reiffel, third umpire Richard Kettleborough and fourth umpire Allahudien Palekar.

Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand, a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player’s match fee, and one or two demerit points.

2 beautiful moment which i witnessed today during Sa and India match.

First when Shami took wicket of Dean Elgar, the AGGRESSIVE captain Virat Kohli ran from the other side to the pitch and showed childish antics at the face of Dean Elgar, Elgar walked solemnly.

But just some minutes before when Ngidi took wicket of Virat Kohli, Kohli couldn't absorb his celebrations and started bad mouthing him (Although Ngidi celebrations were not directed towards him )

No doubt dude is a world class ODI player and as a captain he needs to learn to digest the reaction of his action

That’s your opinion I think Cricket especially test matches are so boring half of the time that this sort of behaviour is fine and adds fun as a viewer.. You might not like it but I enjoy this as a viewer..
And not just kohli pollard, bravo, Shane warne, Mcgrath etc all the people who sledged or added spice to the game on field are fun..

Cricket fans need to relax and take it as a sport/game and move on.

And I am glad the proteas gave him a mouthful as well I enjoy such tussles as a viewer who cares if he is captain or not, IMO cricket needs more such characters to spice up the game.. I enjoyed Aus/India series as well where there was lot of banter between Aussies and Indians.. Such stuff adds fun as a viewer maybe you don’t like it but a lot of viewers do enjoy it as well.. Yes, he was angry at the fact that wet outfield had deteriorated ball condition and stopped having favor for India who were going to bowl on sunny day next day. Umpires could have evaluated outfield properly as it was still pretty wet. Same ball was used the next day in the morning where it could have provided reverse swing to bowlers.

Yes he was angry. And he paid the penalty.
