Was it necessary to play Haris Rauf in this Zimbabwe Series?

His experience and impact has helped us in this series but this series should have been a test for our bench strength. It makes no sense to play someone of his seniority and experience in this meaningless white ball series. He should have been rested alongside Shaheen.

If Hasnain was making a comeback on this tour, he should have been played in all the ODI and T-20 games on this tour. The only mistake i would say the selectors made on this tour.

Important series as the Zimbabwe president once said, next time send the real Mr Bean.

We have to remember this team was announced before the Aus series where Rauf was the MVP before that he was looking shaky I don’t think he would have been picked if this team was selected after Aus tour but yeah they could have gone with Hasnain but first odi loss did scare them off somewhat

He only plays white-ball cricket so I don't see what was wrong in playing him. It's not like he needs to save his body for the high-profile test series against South Africa.

Hasnain is not a good bowler. We need to accept this instead of trying to make his career a thing. He's like a dollar store version of Mohammad Sami.

Pakistan could've rested him and still won.

Anyway, he doesn't play Test cricket. So, shouldn't put too much stress on him.

I blame the Gary Kirsten for not holding a resting camp, so on this occasion PCB is not naughty
