We fans are really really disappointed after being white washed by New Zealand. There are threads after threads are popping out by hard core fans regarding any change for good. But some recent announcements by PCB are really sad to digest (Misbah may continue until 2018, same players have been retaining in the squad, No proper bowling coach etc.)
Misbah did great job as a test captain but why persisting with him till 2018 (current age 44 years)? Than You can not drop Younis Khan and play him another 3-4 years (current age 39 years). Than all our fast bowlers are one dimensional, Yasir is the lone spinner only suited for test but we persist with him in ODI as well, Nawaz & Rizwan are not test material for sure, Shafiq is a total failure under pressure.
So when can we see some significant changes and young squad? Every team is dropping their seniors but we keep persisting with oldies again and again but result still the same. What is the point to arrange A tour, U-19 tours if there is no vacancy for them in next 3-4 years?
Also, if Persist with Misbah until 2018 why not make him ODI captain (Far better than Azhar Ali), Sami for Rahat and bring Younis Khan (miles ahead than Shafiq).
