the problem is Hafeez, Shahzad and Akmal playing for their spots not for the team.

Sarfaraz said they are targeting for 320 but looking at openers approach it seems 250 very far !!
Good crowd in today, apparently tickets are sold out.
So much for "no interest in cricket in the Caribbean".

no they have imad wasim to slog at the end overs![]()
The love for the sport is there, what has isolated the public in recent times is the performance of WI's in general and the incompetence of their cricket board; but the fans are there it's the job of the board to get them invested just like the good ol days
Exactly, nobody's going to watch a team scraping 8th and 9th every year led by an inept Board. If the product is good, people will watch. WICB have often overpriced tickets in the past too.
CPL attendances are still excellent and the turnout during the T20Is was good.
Fans have turned up today as a) its a Sunday and b) WI actually showed some fight in the first match.
Ramiz and Vicky in the comm box.
The mute button was invented for this very day.
Babar is in a different league to the rest. It's quite embarrassing when a 22 year old with less than 50 matches under his belt is your best batsman.
That back-foot punch was Root-esque.

I think Kamran Akmal gets a lot of hate because of his past baggage. however we should treat his comeback as if he came into the team for the first time. I think he's done pretty well so far on his comeback. Good starts. 47 off 48 balls wasn't bad in the first ODI and here 18 off 22 is decent. Yes he can put more consistency but I think he's doing a good job.
