Pakistan played awfully bad.

Its just I know how bad Windies are that they have no chance.

Any decent team like South Africa or India or perhaps even New Zealand would have given us a run for our money.

Windies ?

Meh.

80 all out.

We would have dismissed for lower vs any other team as well

I had forgotten pakistan had a match today. This is some trademark mediocre batting by pakistan

Wow what a comeback by Pakistan!! shadab boy will destroy this windies. Pakistan will win this easily.

I think, it'll be a tight match.

Average 1st innings total at Queens Park Oval is 128 so we're slightly above - but only because of Wahab and Shadab's slogs at the end.

I'm willing to park the strike rate issues today because I've watched a lot of cricket in the West Indies and these slow, tacky pitches have made many big hitters look ordinary.

However I'm not excusing the brainlessness of our batsmen - we are AWFUL at reading the conditions, judging what a par score is and batting accordingly.

Hmmm. Yeah but pakistan bat like this regardless of pitch, don't they?

I am not sure what embarrassment you are talking about? The average score of this ground for 1st innings is 128, hence 140 should be competitive.

Do you watch cricket or come here to troll around. Reaching 90/8 in a T20 match indictes a massive miscalculation of target - when teams don't have a clue of per for the course, try to reach 170 on a 130 per wicket. Adding 42 in last 4 overs with last 2 wickets is Larke Lenge Cricket, happens once in a blue moon, that too against teams like WI & on a day that a side concedes 20% runs through poor fielding.

Your problem is you try to over smart things & then can't manage it - which will only bring you bitter taste & bad memories, as your selection of target also back fires. Grow up.

Wonderful. We could bowl spin so many overs and get WI into a rut, but nooooo, we have to deploy a fast bowler.

How is that a wide? The ball has barely missed leg stump and Sarfraz messed up the take. Poor call from the umpire

OUT - I haven't seen so much ordinary cricket in 21 overs in my life.

What a bizarre dismissal ! Stay on your feet man.

Evin Lewis is a talented and dangerous batsman but he's been out for the second time in a row now.

Bizzare way to get out. What does the rule say?

Out. You have to be connected with the ground at the point of dislodging bails. But, I think they are amending the rule in latest ICC meeting. Which should give some protection to batsmen, but still this is out.

Ok maybe not. There's wicket #1, 9 more to go. Keep chopping wood, green team!

Hmmm he was wayy in. Unlucky way to get out.

He'd have been OK if his bat had touched the ground and then left the crease or went in the air to avoid injuring himself in the collision.

His bat was never grounded behind the line so that's why he was out, even though it was unlucky.

What was that fielder doing anyways , he had nothing to do with the throw nor to back the throw .. just running around blindly ?

Amazing to see how tanvir's legs become usain bolt's legs when the batsmen try to take quick singles off his bowling.

What happened... cricinfo isn't updating. Is Shezzy ok???

I'm worried. This looks very serious. He hasn't even twitched. I'm just hoping it doesn't end his career.

Have u seen such a runout before? Apart from that cook and kohli one.

I think, Tendulkar was out at Eden similarly (he was comfortably home otherwise). Inzi couple of times got run out without placing the bat, when once his toe was touching the line. Long back, in initial stages of TV Replay, I think once MoYo or Hooper tried to avoid being hit by the ball by jumping - ball stuck the sticks when both legs were in air (& batsman was behind wicket). Several similar incidence as well, for which SAF (Arthur was the Coach then!!!) adopted a tactics - his batsmen used to thump the bat on ground with other hand, at the point of contact.

This isn't a broken rib , just precautionary measures likely , possible concussion

I'm going with concussion and the neck brace is purely precautionary.

His neck felt the full force of the runner and that too from the back

Hope it is a concussion because that would be less threatening
