I once wore a silver chain when I was out with the boys and they kept roasting me by calling me paindoo.. :sanga


Never wore chain again.

For the rest of the players, Sarfi is Hitler and for Hafeez he's like, "Hafeez bhai seelip ly lein?".
 
If Shadab is Sarf's trump card he sure doesn't make it seem like it. Last person to be introduced in the attack. :facepalm:

I remember last match he called out to Amir and Hasan when they were bowling "Amir/Hasan seelip leh raha hoon"

Exactly. Personally, I'm not against him being a little hard on the players and talking to them constantly but there's gotta be uniformity. He can't be a completely different person for the seniors.
 
anyone else confused as to why they are not going after hafeez? I think even my mum could be smacking him back over his head.
 
Sarfaraz is respecting Hafeez too much and screams at Shadab, Imad whenever possible

one more reason to get rid of seniors, Captain will be uniform to all new comers.

Why was there no shout when Kami dropped that? Shady and Imad would have been killed.

I dont understand this. Sure, he's never been in the field and has played all his life as a wicket keeper but that catch was AS EASY AS IT GETS. You learn that stuff at under 8 level and I'm not exaggerating..
 
That was as easy as they come. If Kamran Akmal can't catch those he needs to stay far away from the Pakistani team.
 
Sarfraz is a typical Pakistan.
Comfortable with younsgters (encouraging them more and more hard on them) and mates of same age group and too respectful for seniors.

This is fine in life but needs a bit change when you are the captain of the country.
 
how is it that a keeper who's job it is to catch, can be literally the worst fielder in the side? mind you, if you are going to drop a catch badly, you might as well make it remarkable, and that really was. if had closed his eyes and opened his mouth it would have been a wicket.

Great dive there from Shahzad, totally missed the ball. Gotta put in the dive just to make it look cool :shezzy
 
Our bowling is shaping up well for the CT. I absolutely hate Hafeez but he gives 7-8 good economical overs. Too bad he bats worse than a number 11.
 
well done imad, looks like he has changed his release a bit. pitch is helping, but looks like he may have been working on his action too, looks better coming out of the hand. like I know.

its a very tough worn out pitch, up and down bounce, two paced and turning. won't be an easy chance for pakistan if they have to chase anything in the double figures or above.
 
Shai Hope doing a Hafeez here. If this was actually Hafeez, people here would've rioted.
 
Not sure why there's an obsession to persist with the 6th bowler.

Especially one like Hafeez.

He will be bashed around by half decent sides on flat highways of England. But that's not the problem, all our bowlers will be bashed around. The problem is his batting, and hunger to bat in the top order that will cost us each and every single game.
 
If Imad is turning miles in this pitch, then there is absolutely nothing in Hafeez's economical overs. This pitch is a rank turner like the ones we saw in India.
