Hafeez got Smith when he opened the bowling in a period where Pakistan didn't have reliable opening pace bowlers - Cheema, Wahab, Gul etc. Pakistan have Junaid and Irfan now and the fast bowlers of both teams have consistently struck with the new ball in this series.
