Black Mass looks great, wouldn't be surprised to see oscars down the way. The Assassin's creed movie should be good too since it has the same names as Macbeth.

I'm also pretty excited for Spectre. Cleopatra [emoji813]

The reviews for Black Mass are of TDK-esque proportions so far, hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Im not really a gamer and haven't really liked game based movies like Resident Evil, Hitman etc, but Assassins Creed might be a game changer. Let's see.

Haha thanks mate. Fortunately i ended up watching inside man. 7.5/10 for this movie too. Denzel washington is just amazing in every movie he does.

In the opening and closing credits , the movie had the song chaiya chaiya from bollywood movie dil se. Came across as a surprise to me. At first i thought i downloaded a hindi dubbed version of the movie

Elite Squad 1 and 2. On par with City of God and better than Carandiru. Crime, drugs, slums seem to be the main theme for Brazilian movies.

The Departed is my favorite Scorsese movie, I just found goodfellas plot too predictable.

The elevator scene in departed was amazing and so unexpected.

The Departed is a remake of a Hong Kong film. Goodfellas on the other hand is a real life account written by Pileggi. It may seem predictable but it isn't about the story but the style. It sets the standard.
Legend for instance tries to copy Goodfellas.....such as famous introductory tracking scenes.....a powerful soundtrack.....and first person narrative. However it fails miserably. We are still talking about Goodfellas to this day. Legend will be forgotten next month.

Good fellas was good but sometime I feel its tad overrated.Sure the acting was class(Joe pesci esp was amazing) but like someone above said the plot was really predictable and I was hoping for a bit more action.Most perfect movie ever made in my opinion is the pulp fiction.It had everything,the style,screenplay,acting.This movie never bores you pity same can't be said about good fellas.

I can't understand why the Krays get so much limelight, they weren't even the biggest gangsters in London at the time.

Tom Hardy has been a let down in Mad Max and Bronson so I don't expect any miracles from him in his double role.

Legend 7/10 I guess it was refreshing for a gangster movie and you'd expect that with it being a biopic on the Kray twins, it was decent but not compelling enough for me. The highlight of the movie were easily the superb performances by Tom Hardy as the Kray Twins, majority of the best bits surrounded the demented Ronald Kray; hilarious guy

It was amazing in cinema and really feel films such as these were made purely for the big screen experience.

Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.

Saw it rated highly in IMDb, but didn't enjoy it, mainly because of the genre. The movie was visually appealing. The rooms had nice interior decoration. And most of the scenes were shot in a single take. Whenever people were talking, the camera would turn around the speaker instead of the usual multiple takes/shot angles. So could appreciate the effort in the movie if not the story.

I saw the devil - this was great - 8.5/10 sick is some parts, but typical Asian psychopath acting really suits them. still think oldboy is better

It follows - 6.5/10, decent film i read imdb review at the bottom and thought - they gave it a rubbish review but stand people gave it a good review, decent film, but it has to basically rap* you to death and its really slow to get you.

Selfless- 7.5/10, very good film, kept me guessing throughout the film - best thing about the film is that it aint too slow.

The lazarus effect - 7/10- good concept, the only thing wrong with the film was it was too short, could have added another 20-30mins to it.

The visit

A brilliant first hour followed by a spectacular twist is marred a touch by an underwhelming final half hour.

I saw signs (pun unintended) of the M Night of The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable rather than After Earth and The Happening.

Good to see him concentrate on story and filmmaking rather than style and the twist which is shocking but effectively downplayed so as to not call attention to itself.
