Still, the movie ambled towards an ending, almost as if there was nothing creative that could be done.

De Niro had no role, pretty much. Statham was as good as he usually is in such movies.

The Secret In Their Eyes (2010)

oscar winning drama about a criminal prosecutor who is writing a memoir about the case of a rape and murder of a young girl and the subsequent events that led to try and find the killer

This is one of the best films ive seen, an excellent film from the start to finish It contained everything id want, suspense, romance, intrigue, obsession, very good performances and a superb storyline.

The direction and camrawork are top notch with the shots of the staduim and the chase really breathtaking The elevator scene is also mind chillingly wow

The icing on the cake is the climax which will blow you away and ended a brilliant film

A must watch and highly recommended There arent too many films like this

'Bol' 2011 (directed by Shoaib Manzoor, cast: Atif Aslam, Imaan Ali, Humaima Malick)

A great film and surely up there with the best in the top 10.

If Pakistan film industry cannot match the others in dialogue dramas, then better serve your public by highlighting the issues that exist within our society.

It does not come too often from me as I do not believe in nationalism confined by borders, but I feel proud that Shoaib Manzoor is my fellow countryman. Such efforts can make you feel proud about your homeland. This is my real pride and not how many missiles Pakistan has or celebrating the anniversary of having become a nuclear power.

My only worry is that despite it having done well in Pakistan, which shows the support for it from the common citizen, people will still struggle to implement it in their own daily lives, treating it as "just a film for the purpose entertainment".

Futuristic thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal as a soldier sent onto a train which is about to blow up to find out who the terrorist is and so he can be apprehended before his next act.

Decent little thriller which works well because of its relatively short length. Quite intense and absorbing and definetly recommended

Mausam.

Well, that was rubbish. I thought it would be decent considering the hype they gave it prior to release.

It turned out to be completely out of whack and made no sense in quite a few parts.

The transition between 'seasons' lacked logic. Only good part was Shahid Kapoor's acting, he did his job well.

5/10.

No script, no story, no base but still is worth a go as I had a good laugh. It seems Sanjay Dutt is left for comedy only of late. In light of the comedy films released over the last year or so, one has to commend David Dhawan for his acceptable efforts.

Excellent action movie starring jean runo as a hitman who takes the young natalie portman under his wing after gary oldman (the bent and nutty cop) kills her family

All three are excellent in this movie. The action is great and the chemistry and scenes between runo and portman are brilliant

I now see why its ususally said to be one of the best films of the 90s

The next three days (2010)

A over the top thriller starring russel crowe as a husband whos wife gets arrested for murder and after all legal means are exhausted he decides to turn to illegal means to get her out of prison.

the film starts off very well however the final third is a major let down (thrilling but diabolical) and so ott. Just not believable that a normal average joe can do everythiing he does

Give it a miss

The Taqwa Cores--After watching the documentary, I decided to check out this movie..but its nothing like the documentary though. The acting is decent, but they could have made it better. Overall, I thought it was an interesting movie and its worth checking out if you are an open minded Muslim . But I recommend that the documentary should be watched first..(both are available on Netflix for free)

Strict Muslims should not watch it because it could be a bit offensive for them.
