The Town. Really good movie.
Ben Affleck works on the script as well as the main role. Brilliant finished product

'No Problem' 2010

The director, Anees Bazmee, disappointed me to no end:boom:!!! The film was a headache and a huge problem to watch. All the (huge) starcast should be ashamed of themselves! I failed to figure out where to laugh......

No Problem - Rubbish. Too much overacting.

Rakth Charitra - I. Good Movie.

National Lampoons. The Legend Of Awesomest Maximus - spoof film. Ok for time pass.

Tuned into SyFy channel lastnight....watched Yeti: Curse Of The Snow Demon....words cannot decribe how terrible this movie is :-O

Brotherhood of the Wolf - Insane French movie! A blend of horror, nudity, martial arts and a touch of romance.

Highly recommended!!

Yeah, it's hard to define the genre but the key point was i found it thoroughly entertaining especially the action sequences.

Which Bollywood film does it resemble?

Mesrine - 2 part French gangster biopic movie.

At the moment, only seen the first part and it was terrific.

Really looking forward to the second installment.

'Gangster - A Love Story' 2006 (Emraan Hashmi, Shiney Ahuja, Kangna Ranaut, Gulshan Grover)

A great, tragic film:14:!

Buried (2010) starring Ryan Renolds.

Must Watch!!. Deserving of an Oscar. Its that Good!!

I watched "The Others". Excellent movie.

Just heard that Bollywood made a copy of this movie as well. Laanat on them.

Dont watch buried it is by far the worst movie ever...40 mins long and the camera doesnt even go out of the coffin

I was thinking of watching it, but I won't now.

I heard similar reviews to yours from others.

Must be a dull movie.

Bhutto

Documentary about Benazir's life, and it goes pretty much in chronological order. Was opening night and the director was there to introduce the film, which was kinda nice even though there weren't that many people at the cinema.

While I didn't agree with all of it - and I doubt there are many Pakistanis that will - it was nevertheless a very well-made film, and had some incredibly gut-wrenching scenes.

One argument presented, which I hadn't heard before, is that Zardari's moniker 'Mr 10%' was given to him by the ISI as part of a smear campaign against him and the PPP.

It might be dull for you. But average rating on IMDB is 8.0 , and its not like any other movie these days. It has a different plot to it and is an out an out thriller.

Paranormal Activity 2 - Not as good as the first one, but still a few scary parts in it. 6/10

Stone - Some good acting by Norton and De Niro, but I was expecting more from it. A bit of a damp squib really. 5/10

Mirrors 2 - Again not as good as the first one, but some very scary bits in it. 7/10

Unstoppable - Not one of Denzels best and I was bored in parts of it. A predictable ending. 4/10

Four Christmases - Really funny. I'm not a big fan of Vince Vaughan, but this had some really funny scenes - 7.5/10

Anyone seen the movie Unthinkable starring Samuel Jackson?

One of the most disturbing ive ever seen.

Mesrine part 1 - killer instinct

Biographical french film starring vincent cassel on notorious criminal jacques mersrine. Very good introduction. The first part concentrates on the 60s - how he initially got involved in crime and his early family/married life.

Very good 8/10

Mesrine part 2 - public enemy no 1 Recounts his activities in the 70s. This part starts off a bit poorly but finishes off with a bang.

Excellent performance from Cassel who really put his soul and body into essaying the character. Contains graphic violence and sex scenes

Recommended, 8.5/10

Shutter Island---Has an amazing "out of no where/the 6th sense type of" plot twist. Just like inception, there are multiple endings to this movie.. definetly a "watch twice" type of a movie to fully understand the ending.
9.9/10 :D

Well i dont want to spoil the movie for others here so i wont talk about the ending.

But it was a great movie, one of the best of the year. The problem is that it will be most likly be ignored for the oscars because there were just so many good movies this year including Leo's inception. I am also going to watch it again with my sis and cousins tomorrow :D

Ong Bak 2 - The beginning

A historical fantasy martial arts film starring Tony Jaa. Was really keen to watch this film after watching the fabulous Ong Bak n Warrior king a few yrs back but was left bitterly dissappointed with this film.

Theres some decent action sequences in the climax scene but the fantasy aspect meant i couldnt feel for the tony jaa character as in previous films. The ending also left me feeling short changed

Poor 5/10

I read the novel.

Was brilliant. I am sure the movie was too.

Agreed. Saw it tonight. Great action, great soundtrack. Great movie all around.

Debating whether to go see it .. heard some very bad things about it ... particularly when it comes to the acting and plot.

Unstoppable- 6/10

There is a only a finite number of ways you can make these kind of movies hence it was quite predictable and why is Giles Clark the savior of Pakistan cricket?

Because he's the one prodding the PCB to act against match fixing.

Ahh.. I dont know about that. Inception was a "littile" better i thought. both movies are oscar worthy but iception(or the town) will most likly win/get nominated while leo will win/nominated for best actor for shutter island.
Inception was just so different that it was amazing, i have never seen a movie like it before. It really needs to be watched a couple more times because it gets complex(in the beginning mostly) But thats just me :D

Once upon a time in America starring Robert De Niro: 7.25/10

Easily the longest movie I've ever seen at around 3 hours and 40 minutes. Good acting obviously and is based around the prohibition era. It presents the life of a criminal at three stages of his life (childhood, youth and "retirement") and the main themes would be friendship, loyalty, betrayal, lust, greed and couple more which my brain is unable to recall. Worth watching for sure.

Yeah, I have to agree that 'Unstoppable' is not one of those full of thrills and twists film BUT it's based on true events and therefore only so much can be done to make it completely breathtaking.

I enjoyed it although it's something I'd watch may be twice.

Watched 'The Town'...i liked it..top 10 movies of 2010 for sure. Definitely worth a watch

Going to watch Wall Street: Money never sleeps tonight. :asif

Don't bother. That movie jumps off a cliff somewhere in the middle.

I watched Frozen

Harrowing movie about three friends stuck on a chair lift at a ski resort..the freezing temperature is not their only adversary. Must watch.

'Dacait' 1987 (Sunny Deol, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Paresh Rawal, Urmila Matondhkar)

A great film which explains why poor people of villages end up becoming dacoits:14:.

'Page 3' 2005 (Konkona Sen, Atul Kulkarni, Boman Irani)

A great film based upon absolute reality:14:! Truly deserved the national award that it got:19:.

I would recommend "burning bright". Saw it a few days ago and was pleaantly suprised, it moves away from the traditional thriller genre and offers something different.

True Grit

Awesome movie. Ethan & Joel Coen deliver again in a film produced by Steven Spielberg. Their usual mix of comic violence. Jeff Bridges plays the lead role extremely well. Though the dialog was at times tricky to follow because of the Arkansas drawl. Matt Damon also plays his part nicely.

I will be watching this one.

'Aakrosh' 2010 (Ajay Devgan, Akshay Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Bipasha Basu)

Just re-watched to confirm my views on it. To me it was the best Bollywood film of year 2010 and truly deserved much more praise and earning than it got.

'Hungama' 2003 (Akshay Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Rimi Sen, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav)

I never miss a chance to watch this film. One of the best five Bollywood comedy films which entirely based on misunderstandings:19:.

'Virasat' 1997 (Anil Kapoor, Amrish Puri, Pooja Batra, Tabu)

I watched it back then my childhood, but failed to realize that it was such great film:14:. Brilliant acting by Anil Kapoor and Amrish Puri:19:.

Dhoni bhai you watch way too many Bollywood movies!

Can I suggest this movie called "monsters" == very low budget sci fi movie came out this year....watch the beginning and the end carefully ....pretty interesting movie

Tees maar Khan!

Funny as hell as the movie gets going!

8.5/10 for movie

Akshay Khanna 11/10!! completely stole the show from Akshay kumar who was quite a blinder himself!

'Tees Maar Khan' 2010

A nightmarish film and I wish like suing all these rubbish writers, directors:boom:! Gives a tough competition to 'Dabanng', 'Guzaarish', 'Khatta Meetha' 'Golmaal 3', 'Action Replayy' and 'No Problem' in category of worst film of the year.
