I thought it was nice film. Sad to see how the immigrants of different nationalities struggling to get the green card.

The Raid Redmption

I've been eagerly awaiting this film for over a year and it didn't disappoint.

Who would have thought, an Indonesian film directed by a Welshman would turn out to be one of the best Action movies in years.

In roughly 90 minutes running time I can imagine there is 70 minutes of some of the most intense action sequences you can imagine. What starts of as a SWAT mission with heavy gun fire soon seamlessly upscales to some of the best hand to hand martial arts/ knife fights probably seen on film.

Iko Uwais and Yayan Ruhian who were excellent in Merantau were exceptional with their Silat fighting techniques.

A simple enough plot but the Action is remakable.

Highly recommended

It really is a must watch for any action fan.

Check out theiir debut film Merantau which has pretty much the same main cast and director if you get a chance.

1. The suspense was good to get you stuck to the film throughout. The actors did their job quite well and appropriately, apart from Anil Kapoor and Boman Irani who over-acted a little and had annoying presence.

2. The story-line should and could have been a little more compelling.

3. The very idea of all the British/whites speaking Hindi/Urdu throughout the film sounded absurd!

Having apostated from the Akshay Kumar fan club roughly a couple of years ago following a series of rubbish films, I must say he was at his best in this film like he was before 2010 or so.

Prabhudheva being the film-maker, there is no prize for guessing that the action make straight out of the South Indian cinema!

Occasional comedy added to the film and suited Akshay Kumar.

As a side note, it is admirable indeed that Sonakshi Sinha dresses herself in a traditional Desi way instead of those usual scanty clothes like other actresses. I hope she remains so.

That's good to hear, I also heard Hollywood are going to remake it but it won't be anywhere near as good.

There's plenty of good action movies that I've seen and would recommend.
