Okay quick question how many of you have seen inception and if you have seen it how would you rate it? Thanks just wondering since I really enjoyed the movie.

Great film. One of the most ambitious big cinema to come out in the past decade. Amazing concept and execution. Really put back the
"wow" factor that we associated with hollywood (back in the 70's-90's) , which has been watered down by the barrage of superhero/CGI driven popcorn films.
It's not Nolan's greatest (
Memento), nor does it have the greatest of his plots (
TDK), yet no other Director this gen could've pulled it off, or even attempted something like this.
It's the film that firmly established Nolan as the
Kubrick/Spielberg/Cameron/Scott of the present generation. The "dreamer" who makes films that push the limits of our imagination .
It is overrated by mostly millenials because :
1. There are very few directors this generation , who dream big like Nolan .
2. There has been a huge increase (past 2 decades) in the number of people in the subcontinent( and the rest of Asia/Middle east) who now have access to the English language and english/hollywood films , who have practically grown up in an era of Marvel movies and mindless action/popcorn flicks (F&F), so Nolan stands out like a lotus in a muddy pond.
3. Other greats of this gen like
Tarantino, Fincher, Soderberg etc make movies that are far more "grounded", and require a much higer familiarity with US/western culture and the english language's intricacies . Even though Nolan makes complex films, the dialogue isn't as complex as in a Fincher/Tarantino/Soderberg flick. The average joe can still get it
"visually", whereas a Tarantino flick can't be enjoyed without getting each and every line of dialogue .
4. The output of Nolan's predecessors , Spielberg (very few films, more into drama now), Cameron (no output since Avatar) and Ridley scott (Has lost his touch), is very low . So many tend to underrate what these guys achieved in their prime.
