I agree with the bold part. These will be very very tough games because Arsenal will not have its best XI out as no team rarely does due to injuries and fatigue. I think you will beat Newcatle but lose 2 out of the other 3. Anfield will be rocking and LFC will play like madmen to stop any team winning the title.
Most of us have thought of this as a 2-horse race, but I think it's time to not rule Man Utd out.
They are looking strong and in form and in Rashford have an outstanding player at the top of his game.

City have won 10 out of their 12 home games so far, so it's difficult for any team to go their and win.
Even as bad as Liverpool have been this season, you have only lost once at home.
This is why it's important for Arsenal to keep winning at home, 4 games at home in next 6 games, need to win all 4.
Reason why Arsenal are top this season? Their away form.
Played 12, won 9, drawn 1 lost 2. (Last season won 9, drawn 1 lost 9). We lost half of our away games which was pathetic, we lost 13 games all season (1/3 of games)
Most teams that win titles pretty much dominate at Home, then the away form pretty much wins the league.
Arsenal in 01/02 and 03/04 didn't lose a game away from home in either season.
The away form is what I wanted to see us improve and it has slightly, but I'm not getting carried away as we lost away to united and Everton Again. So unless Arsenal come away from the 3 away north away games Liverpool, man city, Newcastle unscathed, we won't win the league.
If at end of season we do finish 2nd it will be these 5 away games (united, Everton, Newcastle, Liverpool, city) which will have decided it.
Come on Saj bro, you cant be serious! We cannot have Utd winning the league, this would go against the balance of the universe. Utd are in great form but if they beat Barca, the matches then will come thick and fast. Utd are one or two injuries away from ruining their current form. I cant see Rashford continuing to score at this rate too.
Very fair argument, Ive changed my mind after your points. City are favs but they are under pressure to win the CL so a anything can happen. If Utd win it, its will be a punch in the gut for both .![]()

5 points isn't a lot.
A couple of results go their way and they are right in the mix.
Nah, would take a big collapse from City but it is not happening. They are too good.
City should take all 6 points off Arsenal and they also have a lot more squad depth. Arsenal will suffer if any of the key players in attack get injured.
Should finish 2nd and it would be brilliant. Keep the core together and build on it next season.
Arsenal is back in the mix now and that is all that matters.
Arsenal.
Who ever gets to 90 points will win the title.
City will still win the league. Imo. Arsenal will bottle it in the end. City have the know how.

Not convinced
Think the late win against Villa combined with Forest grabbing a late equaliser was the pivotal moment
By the time the Etihad game comes I think Arsenal will have a lead bigger than 5 points and they'll be able to afford a loss
Arsenal favourites to win from here
Arsenal should win it but still have to travel to mighty Anfield. LFC will come out like a train in this match.
Plus they have to come to St James' Park as well but I think City have more dropped points left in them, particularly the away fixtures to the likes of Palace, Brighton, Southampton
Also, if Man-U win on Sunday I would not rule them out of winning it as they arguably have the easiest run out of the 3 teams
Potentially pivotal weekend coming up in the title race - Arsenal going to Liverpool.
If Arsenal can pass the Anfield test it will be absolutely massive.
Arsenal.

Yes Arsenal will win.
This is one of the greatest title run-ins in PL history with more twists and turns coming. It is one for the ages and Arsenal will pip City to the title.
Arsenal will need the 11 players to give the performances of their lifetime on Wednesday night to win that game and swing the title back in our favour. Regardless, even a draw would be gold at this point.
Both teams will be dropping more points before the season end, as City compete on 3 fronts simultaneously. Guardiola has already said his team looks exhausted, but he's also got perhaps the greatest squad assembled in PL history.
Nothing's over yet, still plenty of football to be played. 70-30 in City's favour at the moment.
Yes Arsenal will win.

Nice to see an Arsenal fan backing his team!
It could have been but unlikely now. Arsenals recent form , 3 matches 6 goals conceded, 4 against teams with little goals in them. You then go to City at home who will be hungry in their best form of the season.
City should win the league by more than 4 points, this wont be a close race compared to other recent ones.
The title race was over months ago, that's why Mr flip flop has no credibility now and has no choice to go with his changed mid-season prediction)
I think deep down all Arsenal fans realise the scribes are preparing to write Manchester City 22/23 on the PL trophy.
The bookies have Arsenal 3-1 & City 1-4 on. These are huge odds for a team leading the table with points on the board but everyone inc the bookmakers know Arsenal are struggling now, City are reaching peak form. I think the matches remaining also help decide these odds. Would anyone put money on Arsenal beating Brighton at home after the last match?
Its a shame as I wanted Arsenal to win, great story, stops City but never felt confident in them doing it.
Betfair has Arsenal to win at 5 to 1, and the draw 4 to 1 vs Man City. This is staggering given how close the odds are for a win and a draw!

Most disappointing thing is City haven't even applied much pressure to Arsenal and they have crumbled.
Man city after 28 / 29 games were on their usual points totals they have had at similar stages (apart from centurions season), despite not looking as rampant as last few seasons they have still picked up points.
All season City haven't dropped points in consecutive games. Before the Spurs loss, the longest number of wins for CIty in a row this season was 4 games. So people though that maybe they would stumble.
Put Pep layer into the players and got them focused. Arsenal had decent runs last season and this season, but then have a habit of losing or dropping points in consecutive games (last season they lost 3 in a row 3 times), this season they have gone without winning a game 3 games in a row twice. You simply can't do that in a top 4 or title race. Plus when the manager is to stubborn and has no plan B you get found out.
Pep saw his team weren't playing well in certain ways at start of season, also getting use to haaland. Now he's changed formation so that they are defensively solid, concede less chances and getting ball quicker into haaland.
Arsenal have played last 2 games and City haven't played, so City cudnt apply pressure, but weak mentality from end of last season. A weak captain who goes missing most of time under pressure and no accountability on failure means Arsenal folded on the 1st punch City landed.
City will win league by 5 or 6 points now or with a game or 2 to spare
Last 5 matches.
City top the form table with 5 wins, 14 scored and 3 conceded.
Arsenal 8th , 15 scored but 9 conceded, no clean sheets. The goals being let in is the worry as before these 5 games it was only 25 out of 27 games! I have no idea why Jorghino isnt playing more a role, he is the specialist defensive mid, he was bought in for this very reason to shore up the defence in such a situation.
The next 4 matches are against sides who can score, even Chelsea are in poor form but have the ability to score 2-3 goals against this current defence. The other issue is it can no longer come down to goal difference, so thats a point lost for Arsenal in the bigger picture. Not that it will matter now but when going for the title against City you have to ensure of all possibilities.
I think if the UEFA cup was there for the taking. Conceding two away and then not being able to finish them off at home hit them hard mentally.
If City win with two games to spare, its likely Arsenal will lose their remaining games as the head will be shot.
Yes Arsenal will win.

I thought City were done and dusted when Arsenal were firing on all cylinders.
Just goes to show that it's all about peaking at the right time and not losing hope.

A few games to spare and already turned into a damp squib with City romping to the title.
Oh surprise surprise the person that claimed title was in bag months ago has ran off like a coward.
Arsenal have bottled it.
To be fair, it was very unlikely Arsenal were going to sustain the kind of momentum they had until a few weeks ago. Although the gap was decent enough, it just wasn't wide enough to worry City.
Liverpool know this very well to their cost and now Arsenal as well. City are just on a different level at the moment and every single player of theirs is on their A game.
Pep Guardiola has dismissed suggestions the title race is done as he prepares his Manchester City side for an exciting run-in to the season.
City travel to Fulham on Sunday, knowing a win would take them top of the table for 48 hours at least, with Arsenal not in action until Tuesday at home to Chelsea.
Victory over the Gunners on Wednesday has put City in the driving seat for their third straight title win, but Guardiola is seasoned enough to know much could still change.
"People say it's over - it's not over," he said. "There are still seven games left and we take nothing for granted.
"I know Mikel [Arteta] perfectly and his players will not give up. We are respectful for the teams we have to play and we have to beat them.
"What happened to Arsenal [drawing three and losing one] can happen to us. You can drop points and we have to be aware of that."
He is, however, conscious the trip to Craven Cottage could offer a huge psychological boost should City regain top spot.
"It's a special stadium, against an organised team," he said. "They are exceptional in how they play so we have to be intense, aggressive and try to attack as well as possible.
"If we do our job, we will be closer."
So today is the day when City leapfrog Arsenal on their way to another title.
I’d be surprised if Arsenal do it, if it comes down to 1 or 2 games again, they will buckle under the pressure. What they need is an all mighty choke from City and that’s unlikely
City needs to lose a game and draw one. Not unlikely with 6 games remaining anything can happen. Arsenal needs to win all remaining 4 games.

With Arsenal back on top until later tonight, I was half expecting another comeback. View attachment 119407
Chelsea are shot, their players are looking forward to the beach now.
Arsenal play better when the pressures off, so the win was expected.
City tonight will regain top spot with most likely a huge win against the Hammers.
Arsenal will have it tough in the next 3 matches, even Forrest away wont be easy as they will fight with every ounce of energy they have to stay up.

Maybe if west ham miraculously get something from man city. A certain poster may come out of hiding
West Ham were lucky to hang on for so long! It was a certainty but sure there would of been the odd Arsenal fan making dua.
When LFC were going to the wire(Arsenal wont), I realised its better not to watch the City games and wait for the result.
Not just West Ham and Southampton. They were playing really well against Liverpool in the first half when they were 2-0 up. I expected Arsenal to lose at Etihad so they had to do better again WH, South and LiverpoolMan City at this stage of the season are a juggernaut. They just win game after game. Arsenal threw it away when they dropped points against West Ham and Southampton. Man City will win every league game until the end of the season and win the league comfortably in the end, as I see Arsenal dropping more points in their remaining games.
