Even if the thread was about religion, anybody can practice any religion in Canada. So, moving to Canada doesn't prevent one from practicing his faith. But, moving to a different country means Rajdeep cannot be an Indian legally (India doesn't allow dual citizenship).

People can be patriotic for their country living overseas as well. I have never denied that I live in UK for a better life and comfort but that doesn't mean I am not patriotic for my homeland. There are thousands of Brits lives in Dubai but they are all patriotic to their homeland as well. So this notion that oh you live overseas and you cannot be patriotic towards your country is totally wrong.

I also understand and respect that people can practice any religion anywhere in the world. Though they will never allow you to have temple or churches in Saudi Arabia but thats a different topic.
