Would Sachin Tendulkar have won more games if he had the current bowling lineup for support?

I must say I am really impressed with current Ind bowlers. I believe part of the good performance by the Ind team in tests is because of their pacers delivering most of the time.

If Sachin had such bowlers in his time had he won more games? I certainly think so, without going into stats and more details I always felt Ind had a very fragile bowling lineup which caused them lots of games. Discuss!!!

Of course he would have won more, as would have Gavaskar. Batsmen can draw test matches but ultimately to win bowlers need to pick up 20 wickets. We have an awesome bowling unit suited to deliver all across the world, the pack mentality is wonderful to watch. It will only get better with time, there has been a perceptible change in bowling culture in this country and many kids want to emulate our bowlers.

Both SRT and Lara would have scored more runs if they had the same support as someone like Ponting did IMO.

Yes. Current Indian bowling lineup is the best i have seen.

Actually India should have won in one of SA / England with that bowling.
