Trump only attacts the uneducated loonies from the poor southern states, he has no chance of making it anywhere in the liberal states of Northeast and the west. African-Americans aren't gonna vote for the Republicans just because there's a black face on the ticket, they will vote on the issues. Democrats have the African-American vote locked in. In 2012, 93% of blacks voted Obama and only 6% voted Romney. Even discounting the Obama factor, in 2004 Kerry got 88% of the black vote. Trump could have either Cornel West or Al Sharpton as his running mate, but still he ain't getting their vote.

Why ? let me explain, on an average only 40%- 50% of people go for voting, that includes 90% of Minority that left with 50 to 60% voters left who have no interest in politics unless something big on horizon and something that really care about is on line and they like what presidential candidate is saying...now in USA case remaining 50 to 60% would be white population. So when those people get out of their home to vote, in 99% cases they will go for new guy on board whom they think making waves and can bring some big changes.

I would like to quote recent Indian election, India have almost 25% of minority group ( 14% to 18% are muslims) which is very big. Congress and other anti-Modi never believed that Modi will win in Muslim majority areas...you know the results..land slide victory for Modi....

I think there is a very high probability that if Trump becomes Republican nominee he has real serious chance of winning this election ( land slide)...becoz those 50 to 60% of white population will come out and participate in voting and put your last dollar that most of those votes will goes to Trump ( becoz he is the reason they came out for voting)...

Now before you start jumping up and down and say all whites do not support his idea, fair enough, but you need only 30 to 35% votes in your favour to become president and that would be easy with additional 50% voters in the game...

Do you know of something called the electoral college in the us? Look it up.

Usually it comes down to swing states Ohio Florida and a couple more. Ohio and Florida have a strong minority population. Those votes matter a lot.
