Zimbabweans have a lot more respect then other teams they always remain humble in victory or defeat and rarely display a minnow mentality despite their struggles, their fans are very respectable and am so happy for them that they will get to celebrate this series win god willing

yeah exactly unlike some team which have zero icc trophy but acting like a champions

there bowling is issue but batting is very good if they find some good fast bowler they

Wow Lanka are really hot or cold these days. Some days they chase 300 without breaking a sweat, or score 200/0 and other days they falter against Zimbabwe.

SL captaincy is in shambles. The problem with Angelo is that inspite of having great cricketing acumen he is always nursing an injury and is not with the team consistently and because of that he is not able to command things the way he would've liked it.
Apart from him Tharanga is a decent guy but with his limited skills he is not really a major tournament or a tough series captain. Now that makes the stakes of another guy Chandimal higher who is a good talent as we all know but often fails to finish the match inspite of scoring well against tough oppositions and selectors for that reasons at think still don't trust him completely even though he is better than Tharanga and is quite a fit guy. By all means he is the best bet for SL at the moment but Angelo needs to resign on his own and fully support Chandimal for his nation's sake and Tharanga should be made his deputy. I think that's the best way forward for SL cricket.

Chandimal doesn't seem like a bad option. Tharanga is 32 I don't see a point in giving him the capatincy.

Chandimal. Don't think Tharanga, at this age should be invested. Few years back, in middle of the tournament, they made Malinga captain & won T20 WC.

May be Dikwella or any of those 2 Mendis guy as deputy. Also, they need to fix the coaching staff as well. Ford was a fantastic choice, but the left probably from disgust. SRL has done admirably under Aussie coaches - may be Moody or Langer or Siddons can do the job, which includes grooming the new captain as well.

Yes that's true. And what is surprising to me is that Jayasuriya who played the most ODIs for them is taking all the rubbish decisions.
