good question indeed, the ball is 42 overs old and yet there is still seam movement and turn for the spinners. I cant remember seeing such a balance pitch for spinners and seam bowlers and batsmen of course

When BD first batted in that test match, they were attacking and it worked for them on that grassy bouncy wicket. But when they defended from there on, they couldn't handle it which suggests to me they cannot defend and be patient on that kind of surface which is unfamiliar to them. So they should play their natural game and just attack on these surfaces so you won't be bowled out cheaply on grassy pitches.

Actually it does. It's not like this lost against against SAF, Eng, etc. It was Zimbabwe. And the way they lost to Zimbabwe was appalling.

Well, to be accurate, ZC were supposed to arrange a practice match and BCB probably asked for it. But then zimbabwe said that they were having facility related problems and later the players were threatening to boycott due to non-payment so at the end the practice match was not arranged, and that was before BD arrived in zimbabwe and BCB did not bicker about it

you schedule practice matches when you arrange the tour. You don't land there and expect them to arrange it for you. You're just making excuses with no source to back your point.

If we were better prepared we would have still lost but not in similar fashion. We were playing on flat and/or spin friendly wickets with low bounce and then all of a sudden in a different kind of pitch. A practice match is always important esp. for weaker teams like BD
