I'm not watching the game ... have a question on Imran's dismissal. They say there wasn't a 3rd run, but why did Salman respond to Afridi's call. He was running towards the wicket-keeper's end?

Was it bad judgment, bad running, or both??!!

There were three runs easy. Salman had reached the crease by the time Malinga got the ball!!! Afridi ran like an idiot on the third pitch i think. Was going nowhere

Had Afridi run like ur supposed to he would have been home comfortably. He wasnt really running that hard.

Why is Kamran Akmal keeping for Sri Lanka? Is he working overtime? Does the contract allow him to play for two countries at the same time? Surely there's a conflict of interest!!!

Or, is it that Jayewardene's nickname is "Akmal." That can only be in jest and not meant as a compliment!
 
yaseer hamid averaging almost 40 in 50+games...it's just a sad that he wasnt inzi's favorite.

Must say the top three have looked quite good even though the conditions are pretty good for batting

Butt scored 80 and 100+ against Gleen, he has also scored well against Harmison, Flintoff and Hoggard. He lacks technique but values his wicket and we need an opener like him.

I know what u are saying... I too like butt,.....
I think if someone works hard with Butt with his technicque he can go places,,, He bats alot like cork the english opener batsman...But I think need to learn the art of playing stright...
 
I dont undestand what Pakistani batsman are trying to do... their will soon or later get themselft out..


see what I said,,,,,, I knw it is a wrong decision but still.. I think the umpire to have got bored by saying this kind of batting display..

Looks like an awful decision there by Benson. Was a long was forward and the ball turned quite a bit.
 
my fears have come true. Good thing though, this should be the end of hameed in ODI's. Butt will follow back once he makes sure the required run rate is over 7.
 
butt is wasting time and balls. want to play safe then take singles. no point in stoping balls and doing nothings
 
hameed did not look impressed with the decision. why are the 4 all roundes coming in together malik should have come in now.
 
That ball would have easily missed off stump. Was just a polite appeal and Bensons itchy finger was raised.
 
run rate should not be worried about ...... unlike the world cup game vs windies we have both afridi and razzaq to come if the run rate starts lifting too high.
 
The new captain will come in the previous captains number. Hope he brings the calmness of Inzy, and the energy of Malik.
 
Pakistani team always make it alot harder then it is....

I have never understood why does moyo doenst think he need to learn running..

In the last interview he said that he is a fast runner that why he have been run out so many times..
 
here we go folks. I knew it. As soon as i saw hameed coming out i said "s***" now we won't be able to buy a run with two Dr. Slow's out there.
 
So all the people who were earlier criticising Butt and Yasir must be pretty happy now that they've gone.
