1st Test: Aus v Eng [Day 1]

If it all goes pear shape for Eng, at least they can rely on their most reliable test bowler in the last 12 months - the guy who can take crucial wkts...bring on Monty!

English skipper Flintoff is not hapy with the shape of the ball and now the cherry, which has got some beating, is being scanned by the two umpires, Bucknor and Bowden. No change says, Bucknor, this cherry has not lost its shape :9:
 
pulled away for 3 more runs from gnome, 0/40. Anderson ruined a good over by dropping short and was put away.

i don't know...i just read it on cricinfo that he was out there doing the pitch report...I can only guess that he would want ENG to have them 6 down for 300 by stumps!

I just saw england team, i hop ethey lose now. the man that has the potential to change this series is sitting in the pavillion. Panesar should not be there, he should be playing.

Well Giles can change the series too but for teh better of Australia!
 
After spraying it around, Harmlesson set to come back. Can he get the breakthrough? I reckon he's going to be the key for England if he can fire.

he was very cheap and instead Anderson was paying $1 under the table
 
This is a pretty average start from England. A few early balls went through the gully area at a catchable height, but since then nothing at all looks threatening. Anybody reconsidering the Panesar decision...
 
Bit early to reconsider the Panesar decision. They'll have time to do that over the next few days. :))
 
These two are settling down now after some early fireworks. Good drive for Langer for 3. Obviously they want to hang around and bat on now.
 
I think Eng is probably saying we have 4 to 5 bowlers and Aus has 4 so we are okay. The crying face of Giles will work

Flintoff makes the breakthrough, Hayden edging him to Collingwood at second slip. Flintoff goes ruddy beserk - at least he's up for it. Skipper Ponting strides to the middle. He looks more and more like George W Bush this boy. Ponting survives the over.
 
Flintoff to Langer, no run, cracker of a delivery - good aggression from Flintoff, and he spears that one in and it rises sharply, Langer sinking to his knees as he swerves out of the way. The batsman has a wry smile afterwards - this is a good contest between the two

that's what i am talking about!!

No. I'm watching it via Willow. I hear there are pubs in NYC that will show it, but not here unfortunately.

Speaking of Willow, does anyone know how to get it to stream direct to my WMP instead of in my IE window?

Ponting off the mark, pulling Harmlesson away for 4. Now another 4, backfoot cut shot. 8 runs in 2 balls after looking dodgy.
 
yeah im watching it on willow too works out about 4 dollars a days play not bad, 4 more to ponting hes fired up
