2015 World Cup SA v WI Result | South Africa beat West Indies by a massive 257 run margin

Outfield is not as quick today as we have seen on MCG... Would it be like this for second half?

It has something to do with less boundaries today

So its official Amla plays well when it is required and only chokes against India .

though his average batting second is 53 in past 3 years....but only 2 hundreds.

so as per his standards he actually bogged a bit while batting second his strike rate also comes down from 88% to 78%

Amla 64 of 86, SR of 74, Mamoon is gearing up for another big response/party

Gayle is bowling like school boys in nets, lots of nothing half trackers.

When we play, if bowler bowls like that, won't get over in match.

Amla struggled against pace and bounce, and I backed my statement with good numbers. His record in Australia and against Aussie bowlers screams that fact. I put a lot of facts there, and I am in no mood to do that again.

I don't feel that deleting the thread was right at all. But it is Pakpassion, so who am I to complain. :sachin

He has a poor record against Australia simple as that home and away. Even in Zimbabwe he was poor, and there was no bounce in those conditions.
One opposition hardly defines logic.
Hence I said let's look at performances in other conditions which are suitable for bowlers namely England and NZ.

Even if we stick just to SA a guy averaging 37 in 17 matches (which is a good record In SA conditions against good attacks) is not a struggle, when the next guy with at least 8/6 innings averages in the low 40's.

Smith had a decent career and averaged 39 as per criteria, did he struggle against pace and bounce? The guy chased 400 mind you.
I remember that thread and I analysed those numbers, it was rubbish thread really.

What was that by Du, free wicket on nothing ball.

Jut stay in your crease and play normal shots Faf what were you doing?
What a terrible way to get out, missed out on a confidence boosting ton.

Devilliers thought process really puzzles me at times. Again he has reserved himself for onslaught instead controlling the game from hereon.

Crap, two quick wickets. AB needs to bat till the last few overs.

Last 10 overs SA scored runs 60 runs.... but they lost 2 crucial wickets

2 new batsman at the crease now

Yah, I was expecting him to come at number 4 since only 20 overs were left. Doesn't matter because he had to come few balls later.

Ofcourse I was just talking about WI batting

I don't feel safe with 250 even against WI. Look at all minnows scoring 250+ so many times and we have 4 bowlers today.

Amla is such a selfish player I didn't know , Got out just when He shouldn't have. So he doesn't care about SA just about his own average and record . I am very disappointed . When the going gets tough Amla gets going(back to the pavilion that is)

This is Sidney spinners has role to play, Imran would be key for SA later today..

ABD staying till end, that's what we want. I hope so

Roussouw is playing very well here. Needs to keep doing it for the next 10-12 overs.

Lol, what? Amla likes to play aggressively upfront during the powerplay and pick singles during the middle overs with an odd boundary here and there.
He was willing to bare the brunt for his team today on a slow and two paced deck.
What are you mumbling about are you even watching the game?
