When we look at other teams as a bowler you need to bowl to

Bairstow
Roy
Hales
Rohit
Dhawan
Warner
Finch
Guptil
Tamim
Maxwell
Miller

etc

On the other hand we put forward Imam, Shan, Haris, Malik, Sarfaraz etc

No offense to any of these, they are all good players but considering the modern day ODI cricket and batsmen in some other teams as a bowler I would feel OK to bowl to them than against some names mentioned above.

Other than Fakhar on his day there is not a single batsman in the lineup to which opposition bowler will feel intimidated to.

Babar is an outstanding talent but even against him if you can keep it tight he rarely does dominate you all around. Yes he can easily hit balls which are bad, which give roam or the ones on the pads but rarely dominates on good balls even in the middle or end of the innings.

The only players who look bit intimidating in PSL were Asif Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Ahsan Ali to an extent, Kamran Akmal or Umar Akmal on occasions.

That bit of fear confuses bowlers and do funny things with the brain which with our current lineup rarely happens.

Think as a bowler, is there anyone you will feel intimidating to in Pakistani lineup, one who can dominate you and tear you apart?

Right now Fakhar Zaman.

But before definitely Sharjeel Khan.

Other than that maybe Babar Azam.

Yes Sharjeel was one definitely, against Babar if you remain bowling tight lines in the middle overs he will mostly be milking you for singles and wont take the game away. Though he has the ability to dominate which I think he needs to show more especially after 30 overs.

What is Tamim doing in that list :))

I believe he can dominate the bowlers like he did recently in NZ tests as well and has proved that he can dominate for well sometime now. He was one of the key factors in that BD purple patch in 2015.

Honestly, Imad has shown himself to be a man amongst boys in this Aussie series. Also Harris Sohail. Add in Babar Azam and we have ourselves the basis of a solid lineup. I think, Shan can man one of the opening slots. Imam/Fakhar depending on situation for the other.

1. Shan
2. Imam/Fakhar
3. Babar
4. Haris
5. ?????
6. Imad
7. Sarfaraz
8. Shadab
9. (fast bowler)
10. (fast bowler)
11.(fast Bowler)

Thats not a bad starting point for a line-up. We didn't get bundled out for 100 in any of these matches. Made a series of it with mostly a B team. Its not all doom and gloom. Bigger problem to me is, it seems like Mickey Arthur is mentally checking out. That is not a good sign. I like him as the coach. However, if he's not mentally with the team anymore it is time to move on.

Fakhar
Sharjeel
Akmal

That top 3 would intimidate most bowlers the match could be lost if one or two click 150 can be made in 20 overs setting up match winning totals.

Going by thread i would put chris gayle and evin lewis right on top .Westindies should be most feared off.

Second should be england openers follow by india .
