Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has warned India over its continuous ceasefire violations and war rhetoric.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Gen Qamar visited the Line of Control (LoC).

“The COAS said that lately there has been increase in Indian CFVs [ceasefire violations] and rhetoric of provocative statements by their military leadership,” the military’s media wing added.

“We are a professional and combat hardened Army ready to defend our motherland,” the ISPR quoted Army chief as saying. “It would be better if they realise this and place their stock in peace & progress through dialogue.”

“General Officer Commanding (GOC) gave update on situation along the LoC, Indian CFVs and response by the army, the military’s media wing added.

Later, the communique said, the COAS interacted with troops. “COAS appreciated their state of readiness and morale. He also appreciated resilience of civilian Kashmiri population who are being deliberately targeted by Indian army on both sides of the LoC.”

Things are going to get ugly. The big looser will be the poor of India and Pakistan.

If India fires then Pak will hit back hard as well. No need to warn them here.

Election coming up soon. Modi and his army would do everything to win the elections.

Shouldn’t be hard for Modi and his Indian Army to win next election considering rise in number of right wing hardline Hindu extremists.

We’ve had hundreds of ceasefire violations on the border and LoC in the last 2 or 3 years yet not once, yes not even a single time, has Bajwa or his colleagues admitted that the firing was initiated by Pakistan. Are we really expected to believe that every single case of cross border firing was initiated by one side and one side alone?

The same goes for India - they always, 100% of the time, claim that they are only retaliating and never initiating.

Sounds legit.

But who is violating ceasefire? How can it be proven beyond doubt?
I hear the same statements from both sides.

India is as a means to play the Pakistan card at next years elections. Don't be surprised if they orchestrate another false flag in their Punjab province with the Sikh issue also burning as well.
