Agreed it wasn't a good watch - Chelsea came with an odd Game Plan and Arsenal were like fine we don't have to score. I mean obviously another goal would have sealed it but Chelsea didn't do anything. They do still have some good players in there especially midfield.

I love a good Subs bench pinch invasion celebration. It's only stuck up Premier League celebration police that whinge about it. Its very common in other leagues and International matches.

Funny how Arsenal players being told its only the league cup yet you have Fofana crying his eyes out. hahah hey Fofana its only the league cup you know.

I don't listen to him tbh especially with his narrative with the Palestine situation.

Also you might not know this but a lot of older Arsenal fans like myself still remember him when he was working for the Mirror and he published lies about 35 Arsenal fans being hooligans during a Galatasary match. They all lost their season tickets and some lost their jobs.

Was later proven they were ordinary fans caught up in the wrong place and the wrong time. The Mirror years later admitted that this was the case and they got it wrong but the damage to these fans was already done.

So yes in response to your statement - we dont associate with the cretin.

I still do not understand the need for a lightshow or whatever the heck that is before a game....

Some of the comments in the stands were amusing but I cannpt use them.to generalise a whole fanbase, based on comments of about a couple of dozen people at the game....

I am not sure how it looked on TV but when Chelsea pushed 3 up in attack for an Arsenal corner- the panic on the touchline was palpable. I think more teams might do that.

Congrats to Arsenal... the relief at the final whistle was clear but I was happy for their fans, especially the more seasoned and long term matchgoers.

The chant about singing in the northbank and winning the league at anfield and at the lane (twice) it is cute... feels awfully similar to what another club came up with first, albeit, the Arsenal version omits winning everything.... they need that European cup... I cannot stand Spurs + their fans keep mouthing off about winning the Europa league.

A few teams have tried that keeping men up when we have a corner. It has not worked yet and I hope teams keep doing it cos trust me we will benefit from it before the opposition does.

I am seeing little digs coming again - Trying to be clever by giving credit but then having a small jibe at light shows, songs, comments, and mentioning the UCL ....

My mate who supports Chelsea was annoyed by the tactics last from his team.

Essentially Chelsea were trying to overloads the midfield so that it gave Arsenal limited gaps to pass ball through and then use their two wing backs to get in behind the Arsenal full back if they went forward. Liverpool and United exposed these gaps in league games.

However Arsenal just sat in and just played sideways and backwards and full backs didn't go forward. So just became a boring keep ball game.

When Chelsea did try to take risks in 2nd half they had no momentum. Keeping it tight was fine, as they only needed 1 goal to take it to extra time. But both teams end up just parking bus and cancelling each other out.

For Arsenal it's just bout win trophies by any means, long term this boring stuff we are producing isn't going to be sustainable to dominate over a long period of time
