The investigation was done and 22 recommendations were made and out of them the Tory govt only implemented 5. One of the major recommendations has been implemented and schools and teachers have to report and communicate any suspicions to the Police and other agencies. Ethnicity is not relevant in catching and punishing them. Catch all of them and give them the harshest punishment. Anyone hiding them should face the harshest punishment because these kind of activities done opnely means lots of people are turning a blind eye to it. We have documented cases of all kinds of parties including families, cops, social workers etc ignoring it.
As sociaty, it's sick to ignore it despite coming in highlights for decades. No need to get angry at Musk, or think that this issue is an old issue. This is an ongoing issue and we all should be thankful to Musk, despite his different agenda, if spotlight forces politicians to finally get rid of this decade long horrible issue. You can't bring any crime to zero, but this one is onging decade long problem and still a very large one as evident by hundreds of arrests last year.
