Australia (352/7) defeat India (286/10) by 66 runs in in a consolation win - India win series 2-1

Despite getting hit for 81 runs in these hot humid conditions, bumrah bounced back and grabbed 3 wickets. Class bowling. Even on a very bad day.

Australia were 200/1 in 25 overs. Incredible job by India to restrict Australia to 152 runs for 6 wickets in the next 25 overs.

Some lessons to learn for the Pakistani bowling attack on how to fight back from precarious positions rather than throwing in the towel.

Good effort in tough conditions by india. At one point 420 was on the cards. Flat wickets is awful for the game.

352-7 Australia score after 50 over .this is very good score but still very poor finish as they were 230-2 in 31 over.

Good comeback feom India in the last 20 overs really. Looked like Aus would make 450 at one stage.

Today Jadeja bats at 6? What on earth they were thinking.
Gill and Kishan are not playing so we are one batter short so no chance of chasing this score but Rohit and Kohli should get some valuable practice against Starc, Cummins and Hazelwood .

Then they have warm ups. i don't think anyone would want to play warm up. They probably directly want to play the world cup. They have played far too many games already

353 runs target for India. A decent comeback by India after a great Start by Australia.

Bumrah in the last 5 overs: 51/0

Bumrah in the last 5 overs: 30/3

Bumrah shows his class on a Rajkot pitch which has been a nightmare for bowlers.

If India manages to chase this mammoth total of 353 against the full-fledged Aussie bowling attack of Starc, Cummins & Hazlewood, It will be assured that India is ready for the world cup.

7 years back Dhawan/Rohit/Kohli would chase in sleep. This is an old unit at the top. Plus SKY is a hit or miss guy. Jadeja at 6 they ain't chasing anything.

Judging by how the pitch played for last 20 overs I think 70-80 run loss in on the cards for India

Would have been possible with Gill's brisk start at the top and the availability of a solid Pandya down the order. Now its just too tall an order for a 5 man batting line-up.

Whether India chases it or not, they are still favourites to win the world cup. This unnecessary series is just a kind of warm up game for Indian team.

Starc even in these conditions bowling at 145. Incredible speeds in hot humidity weather.

Hope rauf also does the same.

Don't show your experience .I know you have solid technique for a test game.

Washington Sundar has opened the innings with Rohit Sharma

India 19/0 3.5 overs

This is not some pie chuckers. Hazlewood/Cummins/Starc all treated with utter disdain
Cummins has always been a poor odi bowler.
.hazlewood is good yes

Starc was good. Now declining. But great innings nonetheless. Class player rohit.

If india batted first they might have posted 400

Problem with Rohit is now he can play like this only on absolute flat pitches. With bit of variations in bounce and seam he ends up skying one of these pull shots and getting out! Few years back he used to send these balls to the stands, now the ball is only crossing the boundary line, so timing & length judgement not that perfect!

Sundar looked good in tests but what is he doing here lol? He is playing test cricket?

Bizzare bowling approach by Australia, Rohit is in scintillating form and is on top of his game with his pull shots and they are still persisting with the short ball strategy on a flat wicket.
