What's new

Australia beat India by 7 wickets (with 6 balls remaining) in 2nd ODI

At last some sense of urgency from kohli, scoring few quick runs in Maxwell's 3rd over.

A very fluid Rohit in action today, have played some wonderful drives through cover and offside. Kohli gotta match him up for shots.

50 up for Rohit.

Can't afford to bat like we did last time. Hazlewood isn't even playing aggressively. Batting at five an over like last time is unacceptable. They need to smash the daylights outta this attack.

Part timer bowlers are meant to be smashed, they are limited in terms of skills, if you come down the ground, kill their spin and smash it there is nothing they can do. Kohli and Sharma are skilled enough to do that.

Lol it seems like a perfect action replay of first ODI, it's the indian batting which need to make it harder for aussies this time, but if they still settle for 300 then all this hardwork and runs will prove useless again.

Both these really need to get a move on before it's get too late, 350 should be the minimum they should be looking at, else they are done.

So indian fans wants india to score 350 in every match. How about we improve our bowling attack? Do they not get paid?

That's more like it Mr. Talent, but need to keep it up, and i really feel bad for bowlers, i mean literally what's the need of these page cannon fodders even bowling machines would do on such flat pitches please don't humiliate these innocent souls and don't crush their confidence.

Avatars removed after a long time for the impending greenstorm traffic in approximately an hour :uakmal.

Also wow another Rohit masterclass.

Dj khaled: anotha one.

Too many dot balls against Maxwell is a crime on this track. OZs won't be kind to repeat the same treatment against our spinners.

Today talent will say special thanks to BCCI for their DRS stand, between who the bloody umpire was?

Today's score could be gigantic if Rohit gets his 100. The conditions are great, the wickets are left and there is negligible chance of scoring less than 300 so they will feel free to play strokes.

Rohit is playing very circumspect now, have wasted too many deliveries in the last 2 overs.

We lost the game in this same phase last time, hope we're smarter this time. Should go for 130-140 in the last 15 overs with 8 wickets in hand.

India will score 300-310 again with Sharma making another 150.

Won't be enough.

At last Rohit scores a single and gets to his 2nd 100 of the series.

Well played but need to up the ante now.

Ahmed: "There will be a time today when all three formats of cricket will be played simultaneously! Each game is a cracker! #ENGvsRSA #INDvsAUS #PAKvsNZL"

:14:

Watching this game on mute in Tatasky, wish we had the choice of listening to alternative commentary stream from host broadcasters.

Still might not be enough tough

Ishant's inclusion will make our bowling stronger. I expect 325+ to be defended.

Rohit, why not play your usual/natural lofted drives?

He has got no excuse for still scoring at singles after making 100

As i wished earlier, Rahane has scored a run-a-ball 50.

These two need to continue scoring quickly.

Oh no! MSD comes in, expecting another ball wasting inning at a crucial juncture of the game from him.

Hope he proves me wrong, though!

7 overs remains, at least 70 runs out of it will make for a decent total to defend (not necessarily a winning one with our bowlers)

Once again we're heading for a sub par total and :msd will blame the spinners for the loss

Atrocious no?

Yes, spinners are't above criticism but we expect our spinners to perform even on dead pitches against the most explosive lineup in the world when the other team doesn't even pick spinners in their XI.

Sadly we don't have any options other than to pick spinners. Hopefully they don't lose us this game.

Well directed slow balls are the way to go on this track. Hope our bowlers utilize this option effectively when they bowl.

This is the area where Rahane will find it hard.

To tee off.

Now with Dhoni who is a hit or miss these days (when it comes to smashing), things could be tricky.

Terrible shot honestly Rahane can only build an innings not a finisher for sure.

Time is ripe for blooding in the likes of Hardik Pandya, Manan Vohra into our LO team.

MSD, Shikhar are just not good anymore.
