What's new

Australia defeat India by 25 runs in 4th ODI

This is why bilaterals are boring and pointless, the series is over so what is the point of the remaining matches?

They say Indian batters can chase anything, lets see what India has to chase today:kohli:kohli

If bilateral are boring then stop playing cricket, you can't restrict One dayers to just world cups.India can still win the last 2, though it will be difficult.

No he is not swinging it.

Can't watch the game atm.. but cricinfo ball by ball commentary is saying he is swinging it. At least in his initial few overs, Idk about now.

Seems like 400 on cards.Expect another loss..We will outclass SA 1-4 defeat and may end up with 0-5.

These meaningless bilateral international series are killing Cricket. They played several ODIs less then a year ago so why again ? due to this there are more crowd in BBL then this series.Like it or not actually T-20 leagues are the future of cricket like other sports. Adelaide Oval was just more then half full in Pak vs Aus Qf match in world cup, where in BBL this same stadium is sold out everyday. If football can survive with two ,three major events in every four years why not cricket ?

This wicket can have lot of reverse swing if Indian can manage to do it... Breaks can be put in as time passes, if bowlers have old ball skill...

Even with new ball UY and BK has bowled poorly

Looks like we will have to file a euthanasia appeal for our bowlers by the 30 over mark.

well at least something different today. would like to see the indians involved in a good chase.

Had Pak been batting on this pitch instead of Aus, they would have been scoring @ 3-4 runs per over, regardless of the opponents.

We are incapable of anything beyond 300 9 times out of 10.

It's not that we don't want to.

The batsmen just ain't good enough.

I stopped rating Indian LOI over the recent past. The bowling is just lackluster

I don't know why I bother watching India play outside of Asia. Expecting a century for Kohli. Why am I seeing Chuksar on the field ? He shouldn't be bowling.

How does it kill cricket, are you going to stop watching cricket because you think India play too many ODI's against Australia. I think that Pakistan play SL too much but I just don't watch those matches, how do you come up with this killing cricket idea.

Because it's preventing T20 leagues for being played longer and employing more players in a more stable fashion.

Need something to happen. Need a wicket, couple of sixes, something to entertain me.

If Indian batters score even 300 that will be something. Last time India were chasing 400, they folded below 250 on a belter of a pitch.

They folded for that score trying to actually win. It wasn't going to be difficult for them to get to 300 in that match if they had batted slower.

Also the bowlers South Africa had in that match were better than the Australian bowlers this match.

Our Uni had a team practice, we had an Indian international student and an English international student. One of them said he was a "swing bowler" and the other said he was a "medium pacer". Wanna guess which one said what ?

Why can't India bringing Yusuf Pathan instead of a middle order batsman and Irfan Pathan for Rishi Dhawan ? They can't do worse.

Honestly, it's small mercies. I am at the stage where I'm just happy they actually tried to win.

how is it that warner has only played 66 odis?!?

but he's played 49 tests??

Bhuvi and Gurkeerat.

No wonder the ones trundling are getting the biggest phainta. This is what Dhoni's captaincy will do to India.

Potentially a big wicket that, Warner could have been the difference between 400 and 350.

Australia looking at 370 odd here. Honestly this the way to bat on these decks. Go at six an over till the 35th or 40th and then accelerate.

Mitchell Marsh? Mitchell friggin Marsh?? :)))

Is OZ tryna lose here? Almost as bad as asking Bilal Asif to open.

No but seriously, not a bad move. Dead rubber and the kid is out of form, and has 20 overs to just bat and get game time.

Oh man what an incredible bowler ishant the greatest sharma is, malcom marshal who? This guy is the real deal and the greatest pacer this planet has ever seen or will ever see.

Marsh playing a real selfish inning, these marsh bros are good for nothing, what a waste of space.
