This was expected with a 5 man pace attack and Root being the part timer. Add the wasted reviews too. You are looking at another hefty fine.

It’s early but I think Buttler has cost England their hopes of winning this match despite taking a beauty earlier.

Mark Wood should have been playing over Robinson. There’s no express pace at all in this attack on another very slow Australian wicket.

Agreed. Nobody does well in OZ nowadays apart from India. I wont back the Saffers to do well either. England are probably not an elite team but they did win a test in India and a series in SA, SL and they haven't been smashed to pieces, yet , in Australia. They are actually an OK touring side.

Yeah, they are an ok touring side. However their biggest problem is their poor record at home which is really surprising to see especially during these times of home domination by almost everyone.

This English bowlers mostly take wickets by inducing edges to slips or keeper. So England should look for replacing Butler with a proper keeper. If you think his batting is that good play him as a batsman.
